How Sure Are You Of Going To Hell?

Rational people reject the idea of a Saviour, and yet they speak of hell with utter conviction when it suits their purposes. God has set the bar very high indeed, too high for anyone to attain heaven by their own merits. No one goes to the Father except through the Son. Reject the Son, and you...

SHOULD The united states make suicide legal

Suicide isn't a crime to begin with, in that people who commit suicide are already beyond the reach of law enforcement. To criminalize people who attempt it unsuccessfully seems harsh and unnecessary. In my opinion, suicide should not be encouraged by the state as it is not a happy thing.

Is the denial of geologic evidence the best way to promote Christianity?

Promoting the Gospel message (not the religion of Christianity) has nothing to do with geology.

Is the denial of geologic evidence the best way to promote Christianity?

Is there a way to harvest stem-cells from a fetus without killing it?

Is the denial of geologic evidence the best way to promote Christianity?

For what it's worth, I do not believe the Earth is only 6,000 years old. The age of the Earth does not interest me. YEC or OEC, at the end of the day what difference does it make in our lives?

    Led By His Word

Marksman: Do you ever feel like Atheists and various other haters of God want to force us back into our prayer-closets? They'll say things like, "I don't mind that you're a Christian, just please keep it your to yourself." To be fair, a lot of what Christians contribute to the...

Is the denial of geologic evidence the best way to promote Christianity?

Nor should it! Our faith has nothing to do with the findings of science. It isn't science and it should not try to *be* science.

    Led By His Word

"I come not to bring peace, but to bring a sword" (Matt. 10:34) The Word of God is a sword, discerning, dividing. In its own way, it does violence against the status quo of this fallen world and destroys the work of Satan. But does this sword have an evil twin? One wielded not by our Lord Jesus...

Making the case for organized religion

How true. :( We as the (global/local) Church are responsible to be the hands, feet, mouth, ears, and eyes of Christ. We are to be the salt and light of the world. The good we do in His Name will *always* be ignored by those who align themselves against God. Trying to please them is an exercise...

Why did Jesus tell His followers they would face persecution?

The Westboro Baptist Church has abused this scripture horribly. When the devil quotes Scripture, this is the level of mastery he displays. <_< And if that wasn't bad enough, the Phelps Clan enjoys the full protection of the US Constitution and everyone who holds it dear. Again, mastery!

Is America Becoming A Force For Evil In The World?

Satan has dominion over the whole world, and this of course includes the United States. America is not the shining city on a hill. It is in fact the new Roman Empire.

    Ariel Castro

Apparently, that was what triggered Ted Bundy's descent into darkness.

The persecuted Christians suffer yet more (UK)

I think you've got the right idea, Dan57. A losing court battle, as well as a losing moral battle.

Federal Court Keeps 'In God, We Trust'

I don't like the idea of Christian theocracy any more than the Freedom From Religion Foundation. <_<

Kenya suffers now, in brutal Islamic Mall attack.

These men hope to achieve Paradise as well, but martyrdom for them means murder-suicide.

Do you kiss your little cross?

I don't wear a cross around my neck, but even if I did I would not kiss it. I've heard of Catholic priests doing that, and it just seems ridiculous, even borderline blasphemous to me. Not to mention weird and creepy.

What color would you think Jesus' eyes are?

Are you saying our Lord walked the Earth with feet like fine brass and eyes of flame?

The second Death.. Did you know that there was one?

The parable of Lazarus and the Rich Man (Luke 16:19-31) suggests that hell tortures eternally rather than destroying completely, does it not?

What color would you think Jesus' eyes are?

I think Rev. 1:13-16 describes the supernatural, glorified appearance of Christ, and not how He appeared as a man. I'm expecting a brown-eyed Saviour.

How can i be really free of resentment in my heart Quote

I agree with the experts, whoever they are. It's wisdom to know that bitterness/resentment will destroy you. They are addictive emotions. They are dark-sided emotions.
