Thanks. Last night I gave mom tender small bits of chicken on top of rice. Also, mashed sweet potatoes and peas. She only ate a little bit....and totally left the peas. I then gave her a scoop of cottage cheese since she ate so little and insisted that she eat it. She did eat that.

There's still a lot of nice areas. We have a problem with homeless because of our mild weather and they come from other States. The city does try to get some of them into housing. Some don't want to go into housing.

Oh no...I think that cop had too much time on his hands! Here in Los Angeles (many years ago), I once saw a homeless person defecating on the sidewalk....and it was right on the main boulevard! And he was doing it right on the edge of the sidewalk near the traffic! I looked the other way but...

Although the earthquake there wasn't as strong, those skyscrapers must have really been swaying back and forth. That can be frightening. Thankfully we haven't had any large quakes here in Los Angeles for some time. The one in 1994 was a 6.7. It was very scary! We will get smaller ones...
