Which one is true, Simon bar-Jonah or Simon son of John ?
I've found a duality in which simon peter was written in bible, here's the ambiguity of its verses : Matthew 16:16-17 Bar-Jonah meaning is similar to moslem naming convention of their parent using "Peter bin [parent name]", so Bar-Jonah means Simon Peter was the son of Jonah. (NIV version)...- Yan
