Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth...Being born again (1Peter 1:22)

Interesting verse.

Notice it carefully......its says that your SOUL has been purified., by "obeying" the Truth.

Lets break it down.

"soul" here, is referring to the part of you, that is born again, as the righteousness of God, as this is WHY its been "purified".
We know that man, made in the image of God, is a tri-part being...Mind,soul, spirit, and (body) and in this verse, Peter is defining the "soul" as purified because the Spirit has been born again, by the HOLY Spirit of God.

How much more PURE can you be, then to become "soul purified" by the Blood of Jesus. ???
And notice that this isn't a work in progress, or something you endure to the end to receive, and you do not "abide" by clinging to your faith in your faith to eventually become "purified"
Not at all, so dont let the heretics lead you to believe that you have to work and work and repent and be careful, and maybe if you are, you just might slip into heaven after you die, (if you repent and confess enough and dont forget to abide and endure).

This Verse, is once again.... a proof text verse that is showing you that once God has made you clean with/by the Blood of Himself as Jesus on the Cross, then you are just as Clean, just as Righteous, and just as PURIFIED as God is Himself.
This is the eternal Spiritual STATE of all the Born Again "in Christ".

Next,

Notice the first part of the verse, as this tells you HOW you received the purification.. "in....= by obeying the truth""

Now that is this ="truth".
Its the Gospel, sure, that Jesus gives you His righteousness and became your sin and redeemed you from it.. "justification by faith"... "Grace thru faith"...etc.
But also, who IS the Truth?
Jesus IS THE Truth....So, to obey the Truth, is to Obey the ONE who IS The Truth... John 14:6 Jesus said, "I am The Way, THE TRUTH">....
So, to obey Jesus, is to do what He said to Do, which is this...

"Jesus said..."you MUST be born again"...

So, you obey that when you = "all that call on the name of Jesus shall be saved".
= Born again..

Obeying the truth, is to do what the Truth tells you to do, while knowing that Jesus Himself IS THE Truth.

So, when you have your soul purified by obeying the Truth, (born again) you have been redeemed by God Himself, through the blood of Jesus.... =that is your Redemption, that is your "purifying".
This "purifying" of you by the blood of God, eternally recreates you as Righteous as God. A "new Creation IN Christ".
Equal in Righteousness with God.
This is why Paul tells you this..

"As Christ IS, so are the born again IN THIS WORLD".

Right now., and always.

1Jo 1:7, But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1Jo 1:8, If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jo 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Here we have the understanding that if we walk in the light as He is in the light...the blood of Jesus cleanseth us from all sin.

What does it mean to walk in the light as He is in the light?

It means to stay transparent before God.

It means that we do not hide from the Lord like Adam did in the garden.

It means that when the Holy Spirit pinpoints our sins, we do not hide our sins from Jesus but we confess them to Him and are forgiven.

If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we will not be in danger that some are in, that Jesus will say to them on that day:

Mat 7:23, And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
