No it does not, earthquakes are a product of the creation of the universe. They are affected by global warming and the weight of water (polar ice melt), the weight of civilization (buildings and skyscrapers), the thermal radiation from the sun, gravitation from the moon and sun, etc. But set in motion by the formation of the earth, sun and moon.

You can't will an earthquake to happen, unless you have faith to move mountains, but faith like that is supposedly a gift from God:

Matthew 17:20


20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

The land masses are constantly shifting....they are like huge floating islands....molten lava from the ocean floor is constantly creating mounds and mounds of new land mass....then tectonic plates move and shift according to ocean activity.
Earthquakes and/tremors occur daily...some are just too weak to feel. The major ones occur along the fault lines.
At one time, all land masses were thought to be a single continent. I think it is called the Paleozoic age....in time it began to break apart....(maybe God chose to do this). But if you look at the coast line of one continent and compare it to the adjacent one they fit like a puzzle piece.

What's pagan? I thought it was interesting who actually falls into that category. Perhaps the word is loosely used on this forum:

You should probably quote it from the King James Bible dictionary then to be more inline with the world religions:

I don't know what a New Ager is.
But I do know that it was by God's spirit that the earth was formed.

What I don't know is if our thoughts and words have an impact on the Spirit of the world on which it's foundations lay.
The hotter we get, angrier, wrathful, nastiness, ..
the more turmoil the earth experiences.

It could be the Kurds or ISIL remnants trying to reassert themselves.

Kurds have oil and money.
ISIL has radicals.
Christians are running around too. The seven churches of revelations aren't all gone completely...the crusaders didn't wipe them all out.

There are quite a few Christian science leaders in the history of science. I listen to science as I use many of it's advancements on a day to day basis. Seeing a doctor and taking medications, using a cell phone or computer, getting an x-ray, driving a car, living on a structurally engineered dwelling (which most of us enjoy).

Science relates to factual data and theory, which I like because it tends to be less imaginary.
