Well, my view on the chain idea, is that how would you chain a spiritual being? By using a spiritual chain. An angel will come down and chain the beast for 1000 years. If the chain came from Heaven itself, it would chain him.And I'd like to think it would be a literal 1000 years. Would be nice to have 1000 years without the big bad beast.
Heaven will be on earth but I dont think God will have a problem containing Satan for all intensive purposes he was conquered on the Cross and is being held now by Michael (Rev9)only is evil spirit roams the earth at present. And 2 Peter 3:8 tells us in Gods time 1000 years to humans is one day with God so sense we will be in spirit bodies living in heaven on earth the 1000 years will seem like one day.The good news is even though he'll be loosed for a little while it wont be long before he is thrown in the Lake of Fire.

Basically the final nail in the coffin for him.

Does anyone have a good study on the millenium?
Yes.This day represents the reason why the sabbath day is SO IMPORTANT to acknowledge by followers of Jesus Christ in this day. Let's begin there first:Exodus 12:8-11 - "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work, but the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God, in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."Every holy man of God understood, and in this day should understand the significance of this day. Modern day Christians believe that after Jesus came and died for our sins, the covenant made with Israel in the wilderness outside of Egypt which includes the sabbath day, was abolished. This is a critical mistake. All of the apostles taught on, taught about, & kept the sabbath day(read Acts 13) , and so should we! The same message that Peter taught regarding the time differential between God & man(1000yr/1dy) was taught in times of old by David in Psalms 90:4. David however, also spoke about entering into THE LORDS 7th DAY REST, and not the one commanded to man in Psalms 95:7-11 - "For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness when your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest. " This same message was echoed in the new covenant by the apostle Paul in Hebrews chapter 4. Verse 7 explains this entire topic: "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God." Man cannot enter into this rest unless he enters into his/her own rest, which is the sabbath day. Mankind has been given six God cycle days(6000 yrs) in which to rule this earth. The seventh day is the kingdom of Jesus Christ.

I agree with your conclusion that the Millieum is Gods rest and the time of man is 6000 yearsMy question would be on your statement that most Christians think the coventant given is abolished And that the Aspostles taught it.The Law was never abolished Christ said he came not to change any of the Law but to fulfill it. Christ became our Sabbath (rest) the Aspostle"s hardly mention the Sabbath except for refering as to which day they went to teach they only refer to it when talking about the Jewish civil law which is the only reason they followed it at all even Christ only observed it as a civil law and he himself broke itIn fact the Only time they teach specifically about it we are told we are not let no one judge you by what you eat or drink or day you worship or call what day you call holy. Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]: Not that this changes your conclusions but as Christians we need to know that the coventant is in effect Just that Christ fulfilled the Sabbath and became our rest we are to rest in him it is he that is holy not a dayThough the Millieum is his Day of Rest we will be resting in Him

Hi Crooner.I am not a 7th Day Adventist. I am simply a bible Christian. I believe that all of the bible is good for doctrine, except for animal sacrifice. The reasoning for this exception being that Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice by the shedding of his blood.

Hi Kriss!Christ never broke the sabbath day. Remember, if Christ had broken even the least part of the law, we are yet in our sins! He would not have been the acceptable passover lamb without blemish. Christ, along with the apostles, preached the circumcision of the heart. This is why he he taught that it is lawful to do good on the sabbath day in Mark 3, and in Luke 13:10-13(while teaching on the sabbath).Luke 4:16-18 confirms this. Again, his custom was to stand in the synagogue to read every sabbath day. This is directly in line with what the scripture commands in Leviticus 23:3 "An Holy Convocation." The custom of the apostles was to do the exact same thing, which is why I posted Acts 13. When you quoted Matthew 5, you didnt complete the reading of the passages. You quoted "Christ said he came not to change any of the Law but to fulfill it", but you didnt continue into verses 18 and 19: "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Again in Colossians, you didnt continue into verse 17: "Which are a shadow of things to come, but the body is of Christ." Here's is the expanded understanding of the former. Jesus commands that you cannot break or teach against even the least of the commandments, with the exception of animal sacrifice. With the latter scripture, you have to understand the context under which it was written. The pharisees throughout Judea were a midst a campaign to sabbotage Paul's teaching of the Gentiles with the same approach taken to Jesus about the very same day/issue. Proof of this comes in John 15:20 "If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you." Paul then informs the Gentiles that all of these days are shadow of good things to come. So what are the holy days a shadow of you ask? simple: 1). the sabbath is the seventh day millennium, 2). The passover is a shadow of Jesus death itself and commemorates the blood he shed for us annually, 3). The feast of unleavened bread is a shadow of purging the leavened lump of sin or what Paul talks about when he spoke of "putting off the old man, walking in newness of life", 4). Pentecost/Firstfruits is a shadow of how once Jesus was resurrected, he told Mary to "touch me not!, for I have not ascended to my father", this day represents mankind waiting to be resurrected by Jesus himself and deemed similarly acceptable(on the 7th day), 5). The memorial of blowing of trumpets is a shadow of how the defeated his enemies in both oldtimes(JoshuaWall of Jericho), and the 7 trumpets blown in the book of Revelation, the last of which the angel sounds "the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord!", 6). The day of atonment is a shadow self explanatory, 7). The feast of tabernacles is a shadow of the Lord gathering Israel from the four corners of the earth once the 7th trumpet is sounded by the angel and the real sabbath begins! Paul however, taught the Gentiles with the sincere milk of the word. This explanation would have sailed clear over the Gentiles level of understanding. Observe how that in the book of Hebrews, there are no ambiguous passages. The Hebrews were raised in the word, he therefore taught eye to eye with them. Please also dont forget that this millennium sabbath begins, the Gentiles will be forced to adhere to the full law again in that day! Jesus will commission the children of Israel to once again, go abroad and teach the Gentiles the right way, not according to how the pharisees did it. In Jeremiah he says "I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion, and I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. " If any Gentile nation refuses to rest on the sabbath day, he will suffer that nation to starve by means of drought. Proof of this is found in Zechariah 14:15-20. Proof that the weekly sabbath being enforced in the kingdom is in the full chapter of Ezekiel 46. If i went on, I can show you that the Lord will even have people killed for violating even the least of the commandments in his kingdom. People are really not fully preparing themselves to take part of the Lords kingdom. This is why Jesus will have to destroy a lot of people upon his takeover of the world. Here is then my question to you in closing, Revelation 12:5, and Revelation 19:15 fortells of how Jesus will rule all nations on earth with "a rod of iron" as described in the aforementioned scriptures above. In Revelation 2:27 he then confirms the promise that he made to the apostles and extends that to us in that we will rule with him(on the 7th day), with a rod of iron. If there is no respect to persons with God(James 2:9), how then will Jesus pick rulers that obeyed not his law in their lives to rule with a rod of iron over similar unbelievers? Remember, in Numbers 15:33-35 Jesus killed a man for this issue similar to how it will happen in his kingdom. The devil was a liar from the beginning and tricked Adam & Eve into not obeying him in the very beginning. Please take heed to what wants us to do.

Are we not supposed to do that every day?And what about those of us who have jobs that we work on the sabbath?Again as Kriss stated Christ became our sabbath, and in Him we have rest every day

Exactly, which is why the Sabbath day observed from the natural perspective is no different than any other day. In Hebrew 4 the Law was a shadows of better things to come. Jesus Christ was the earnest and the Law was the Shadow. The Holy Spirit is our Rest, when he comes into us that is our rest! God over us(Israel and Moses in Egypt), God With Us(Jesus Christ), God in Us(The Holy Spirit) the sabbath. The manifestation of his works done through us. AmenYeshua HaMashiach the son of G-d is our Rest and our Sabbath for he is Lord of the Sabbath and he is our rest when we are weary! HaShem!
