Deuteronomy 13:
Idolaters to Be Put to Death
1If a prophet or dreamer of dreams arises among you and proclaims a sign or wonder to you, 2and if the sign or wonder he has spoken to you comes about, but he says, “Let us follow other gods (which you have not known) and let us worship them,” 3you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. For the LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love Him with all your heart and with all your soul.…

So it is clear a false prophet can speak things that can actually happen. They see through a dimly lit light. One that knows its own especially and one that has a hand in some of its design the future. we know Lucifer is in the mix and shuffle of men's kingdoms.

HERE IS THE FALSE PROPHET:

Sept. 5, 2009 — -- The prophecies of the Irish saint Malachy, the 12th century bishop of Armagh who predicted all the popes, have thrilled and dismayed readers for centuries. He has stated there will be only one more pope after the current one, and during his reign comes the end of the world.

"In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End."

In 1139, then-Archbishop Malachy went to Rome from Ireland to give an account of his affairs. While there, he received a strange vision about the future that included the name of every pope, 112 in all from his time, who would rule until the end of time. We are now at the second last prophecy.

His predictions are taken very seriously. As one report states, "In 1958, before the Conclave that would elect Pope John XXIII, Cardinal Spellman of New York hired a boat, filled it with sheep and sailed up and down the Tiber River, to show that he was 'pastor et nautor,' the motto attributed to the next Pope in the prophecies."

As for the prophecy concerning the 111th pope, Pope Benedict, the prophecy says of him, "Gloria Olivae," which means "the glory of the olive."

The order of Saint Benedict is also known as the Olivetans, which many claim makes Malachy's prophecies correct. The next and final pope then should be "Peter Romanus"

St. Malachy gave an account of his visions to Pope Innocent II, but the document remained unknown in the Roman archives until its discovery in 1590.

Many of the prophecies are spot on. For example, the one about Urban VIII is Lilium et Rosa (the lily and the rose); he was a native of Florence and on the arms of Florence figured a fleur-de-lis.

Pope John Paul II is De labore Solis, meaning "of the eclipse of the sun." Karol Wojtyla, who would become Pope John Paul II, was born on May 18, 1920 during a solar eclipse.

Peregrinus apostolicus (pilgrim pope), which designates Pius VI, appears to be verified by his many journeys to new lands.

So is Benedict the second last pope? The Irish seer of the 12th century has said it will be so. Time will tell.
Many NOT all of his prophecies have happened. he has also been wrong about things as well. The wise know all PROPHETS of God are 100% correct not partially right for God is not the author of confusion.

For a false prophet to be convincing enough he needs more right than wrong. But for a prophet to be of God according to Christianity, all things he says must be 100% right. That is the God approved standard.

AUTHENTICITY:
Missing History
Although the prophecy is attributed to a 12th century figure, it wasn’t published until the end of the 16th century. We have no references to it in the interim, including from sources who would be expected to mention it (e.g., biographers of St. Malachy).

That’s a mark against its authenticity.

The suggested explanation for why there is no mention of it in the first 450 years after it was allegedly written is that it was hidden in an archive in Rome and not rediscovered until around 1590.

That would explain matters, but it’s still a mark against its credibility.

Further, I don’t know if we even still have the original document or whether it’s been authenticated by any of the various means available to us today. I’m not aware of any supporters of the prophecy claiming this, though if any do claim it, I’d love to see the evidence.

Until such time, though, it’s a mark against the document.

Sensational documents allegedly found in Vatican archives and dealing with the end of the world are, in principle, not to be trusted. It’s too easy and too tempting for people to fake those.

  • Ex castro Tiberis (“From a castle on the Tiber”). This is connected with Celestine II (1143-1144), who was born in Citta di Castello (City of the Castle), which is on the banks of the Tiber river.
  • Frigidus abbas (“Cold Abbot”). This is connected with Benedict XII (1334-1342), who had been the abbot of a monastery at Fontfroide (“Cold Spring”).
  • De parvo homine (“From a small man”). This is connected to Pius III (1503), whose family name was Piccolomini, which is derived from piccolo (small) and uomo (man).
MISSES

  • Pia civitas in bello (“Pious city in war”). This is connected with Innocent IV (1591), but there is no good way to link him with this motto. Some have pointed to the fact that he was patriarch of Jerusalem before his election to the papacy, and Jerusalem could be thought of as a “pious city,” but so could Rome and many others. Almost any Christian city would count, and Jerusalem was not a Christian city at this time. Furthermore, Jerusalem was not at war when he was patriarch.
  • Aquila rapax (“Rapacious eagle”). This is connected with Pius VII (1800-1823), but there is no good way to link him with this motto. Some have proposed that his reign overlapped with that of Napoleon and that Napoleon could be described as a rapacious eagle (that is, a hungry commander of armies), but this is very tenuous and makes the motto not a description of the pope but of someone else who was on the world stage during his reign.
  • Religio depopulata (“Religion destroyed”). This is connected with Benedict XV (1914-1922), but there is no good way to link him in particular with this motto. There is no obvious connection to his name, family, place of origin, or coat of arms. He did not destroy religion or religious life. Neither were either destroyed during his reign. He did reign during World War I, but that did not destroy either. He also reigned when Communism came to power in Russia. That didn’t destroy religion in his day or in Italy. And again, we’d be connecting the motto with something other than the pope. If that were allowed then it would be possible to connect every motto with something that happened somewhere in the world during a pope’s day, and the prophecies would have no particular value as they would all be applicable to any pope.
VAGUE

  • Iucunditas crucis (“Delight of the cross”). This is connected with Innocent X (1644-1655). The proposed explanation is that he was raised to the pontificate around the time of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross after a long and difficult conclave. This is a very weak connection (“around the time of”?). More fundamentally, almost any pope at all could be described as “delight of the cross,” either because of the sufferings he endured in his papacy or because of his general love of Jesus. It is too vague.
  • Vir religiosus (“Religious man”). This is connected with Pius VIII (1829-1830). According to one explanation, it is a play on words on his papal name (a pious man is a religious man). But this is not a strong indicator. It could also apply to other papal names–like Innocent. In fact, another motto involving religion (De bona religione, “From good religion”) is allegedly connected with Innocent XIII (1721-1724), with the word “religion” pointing to his papal name. Furthermore, any pope who had been a member of a religious order could fit the description “Religious man,” as could any pope, period. This is too vague and could fit too many circumstances to say that it fits Pius VIII in a non-random way.
  • Pastor angelicus (“Angelic shepherd”). This is connected to Pius XII (1939-1958). The proposed explanation is that Reigning during World War II, he is reported to have covertly helped many Jews escape extermination in the Holocaust. This is a weak indicator. Every pope is, by his office, someone who can be described as a shepherd. Every pope that does anything good can be described as angelic. This can fit too many popes. It is vague and cannot be connected with Pius XII in a way that is clearly non-random.

The papal mottoes in the prophecy, It seems to be found that there were, indeed, many more hits in the period before 1590 and many more misses and vagues in the period after 1590.

Here were my results:

  • Miss: 0 (0%)

THE MAJOR PROBLEM. This CONCERNING THE last "pope" he is not a follower of Christ, he has spoke and speaks many heretical doctrines .
1. there is no hell
2. welcomes homosexuals and is very vague as to his convictions concerning what even has been historically -catholic doctrine based on the foundation.
3. deters proselytizing which is the same as evangelizing and tries to say they are different.
4. Chooses "LOVE" false- prayer intention January 2016 in Ecumenical bunk which embraces other religions as true and believes Christianity should be one with them.
5. Changes Lord's prayer WHICH IS TRANSLATED accurately. Banking on the lack of understanding languages by the masses. Traditional catholics infuriated!
6.Welcomes, as many VATICAN II popes welcome, celebs with open arms and gives NO Christian advice.

THE LAST THING IS, we are taught in scripture that during the Tribulation no one will be able to buy or sell unless he has the mark of the beast. Yet in the Malachy prophecy this last pope feeds many during a time of tribulation. With all his false doctrines and his shmoozing with celebs, homosexual false doctrine and embracing false religions , he is a holy man??? GIVE ME A BREAK. Anyone , receiving anything from him during tribulation has the Mark of the beast just like him. He does ride on the back of the Beast as will all the harlot "shepherds" wolves in sheep's clothing= WITH A TITLE OF CHRISTIANITY . TIME TO WAKE UP! He is the Last pope for the Catholic church that Malachy got right. But I have filled in the blanks that he left out. Meet one of your false prophets who brings about satan through all lying signs and wonders.
2 Thessalonians 2:
The Man of Lawlessness
…8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth and annihilate by the majesty of His arrival. 9The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and FALSE wonder, 10and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them.…
BECAUSE CATHOLICS BELIEVE IN PAPAL INFALLIBILITY they will be deceived.because they embrace harlot doctrine they will be taken in by satan. Only the Few will see.
And Jorge (Francis is a beast system appointed pope who was not elected even according to the Catholic tradition but was placed in power by the Beast system government already in place - that is ,the one upon the sea). Take from his hand and you are done and will not be sustained by manna from heaven.
he is the Last king for the Vatican and is an eighth and will reign for one hour with the Man of Sin. WE ARE VERY DEEP INTO THE END OF THE AGE!It will get worse from this point moving forward.
I will post all his heresies in another thread, he is an apostate, a false spiritual leader .

Another ridiculous anti-Catholic screed based on a debunked work.
What a surprise . . .

For anybody who is interested - the prophecy was originally published in 1590-1595 by Arnold Wion, who was a Benedictine monk in a book titled Lignum Vitae – which was a history of the Benedictine order. He didn’t just publish the book – he “created/invented” the information. Modern scholars show that this is easily-illustrated by the fact that the “prophecies” were remarkably accurate when the popes from Malachy’s lifetime (i.e., Pope Celestine II, who was Pope when the “prophecy” was supposedly given to him) until Urban VII (pope when Wion published it). After these popes everything becomes more and more ambiguous and general.

When you combine this with the fact that St. Bernard of Clairvaux, who was a close friend of St. Malachy – AND his biographer - never made a single mention of this “prophecy” and nothing was ever recorded of if for the almost 400 years until Wion published HIS work.

It’s complete nonsense and another pathetic attempt by YOU to denigrate the Catholic Church.
Shame on you for lying - AGAIN . . .

The prophecies of St. Malachi are rejected by educated Catholics because they have been proven forgeries. They have NEVER been accepted as valid by the Catholic Church. You have been deceived by fear mongering hate cults. No pope has ever called themselves "Peter the anything" out of respect for the first pope so "Peter the Roman" is stupid and absurd, for that and many other reasons. What part of "Malachi's prophecies are forgeries" don't you understand???

Satan indirectly controls 90% of mainstream media. You have given a summary of headlines by mainstream media, who is at war with the Church, and all of your points are gross misrepresentations of the actual events or just plain lies.

Pope Francis is 83, and frail. He will die soon. When the next Pope is elected, I will shout your falsehoods from the rooftops. But your post is just as false as the prophecies of every made-in-America cult since the 1840's.
BECAUSE CATHOLICS BELIEVE IN PAPAL INFALLIBILITY they will be deceived.because they embrace harlot doctrine they will be taken in by satan. Only the Few will see.
Unfortunately, bigots never NAME the doctrine. Worse, they change the meaning of "doctrine" making sensible discussion impossible. Catholics believe the Council of Jerusalem is infallible but you reject that or ignore it because it doesn't fit in with the man made Protestant tradition of a non-infallible Church. There can be no "infallibility" without the Holy Spirit but you don't get it because you have been blinded by the false man made tradition of sola scriptura. You reject dozens of Scripture that defines it. You make ink and paper "the sole rule of faith" with 40,000 conflicting opinions.
And Jorge (Francis is a beast system appointed pope who was not elected even according to the Catholic tradition but was placed in power by the Beast system government already in place - that is ,the one upon the sea). Take from his hand and you are done and will not be sustained by manna from heaven.

You post a psychotic irrational hate rant and pretend to be an expert on the conclave???

Pope Francis is a humble and holy man, and the right Pope for the times we are in. He uses every means at his disposal to stop mass starvation, wars, genocides, etc., etc. He is a spiritual leader with temporal responsibilities. He loves everybody, including his enemies and sinners.

Jesus builds the Church, not the Pope, and you are saying Jesus builds junk. The Bible says the Church is infallible and indefectable. She has been attacked from withing and from without, but never prevailed over. Is Jesus lying? St. Paul writes a lot about the anti-Christ, but never says the Church, no matter how you wish to define it, would ever be overtaken by him. But you do.

I find this whole forum anti any Church that is Liturgical and that does not follow lock step in going by the Bible alone. The ignorance is mind boggling here
