Don't want to get in too much detail about this but haven't had a real home in about 6 years and haven't had my own in 12(?) Basically a nomad in a situation. I'm really, really tired. I think the stress is actually starting to make me sick to the point it's causing pain and my brain is getting pretty foggy. I know, "woe is me", right? But that's how it is.

I really want to be able to not have the weight on my shoulders pulling me down and feel like I can breathe again.

Thanks :)

Hi Fluffy,
Your situation kind of sounds like my own. In the last 10 plus years, the house I bought never felt like a "home". I am not happy in the loudness of the city and have been praying God's will if i put it up for sale in the Spring. There is work needing to be done but, I cannot do it myself and have to pay people way too much money to fix these things so, it will sell "as is" and, if it is God's will that He grant me this prayer to move to a quieter neighborhood, then the house will sell and, if not, then I will take it is His will I stay in this place.
I will pray for you to find the perfect home for you sister.

hello,

Home is where ever I unpack the bags I travel with. It may be for a day or it maybe for years, but I have learnt to be content within the space that I call home whether it be a mansion or a one room shack, as I know that God is with me where ever I am living and that I am in that place for a reason. Now, I do not have to understand what God's reason is for me to be living in the places that I do, but I do know that God is still with me and that there is a purpose for me to accomplish.

Let me give a biblical example of someone who knew that God had him living in a desert in the region of Sinai waiting for a person to turn up who he had to teach about the things of God.

The preparations for his time in that desert place began during the 30-40 years that his family fathers had lived with Abraham before Abraham sent them all off to the east to separate them from his son Isaac just before Abraham died. This was within God's purposes, to have a means to teach Israel about the God of Israel's father Abraham as they where brought out of Egypt to return to the Promised Land, which was a sign of the Promises of God, that in relationship with God walking within His earth, that they would inherit the whole earth at some distant future time, which at that time was outside of their ability to comprehend.

Who was this man? His name was Jethro and he was also know as Reuel, which in the Hebrew has the meaning of "a friend of God," he was a Priest within His tribe, who had a personal relationship with God. Reuel's family had waited nearly 400 years for their purposes to be fulfilled when Moses turned up to become a part of their lives.

Before we can settle down in the places where we are sometimes driven to, to live, we have to know God's purposes for our lives and become content in fulfilling that purpose, whether it is mundane or exciting in its fulfilment, in the places where we are to live for that purpose's fulfilment.

From what you posted in the OP, it seems to me that God is wanting you to clean the place where you are living so that you can be a blessing to those around you as you begin to minister to them out of your experiences with the Lord God, Himself, and to tell them your story as an example that all people matter to God.

May the Lord God Bless you as He begins to draw you into His purposes, whatever they may be, so that you can be a blessing to all the people you personally will rub shoulders with.

Shalom

I know you might not want to hear this just now, but I think it will help you. Perhaps it counts as tough love.

Pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18

Think about the Israelites in the wilderness for forty years and grumbling in their tents.
And Paul who said he had learned to be content in all circumstances.

Hi Jay Ross,

Sorry. Do you mean physically clean? I don't know if my place is fit for company. Think of it as almost like a studio apartment filled with animals and people, and no kitchen. There's an instant pot, but there's no kitchen. lol But it's usually pretty clean in spite of so much going on in here.

Do we not have two homes, one is within our skin and the other is without.

The question then becomes, what does the word clean mean? Perfection? The perfection is being on a journey with God as He leads us/you to be where we/you are meant to be.

So many "Christians" are not truthful because they want to hide all of their warts and imperfections as if they are not also on display for others to see.

We all have to let God reveal to us what He wants us to do and then we all need to set about doing just that. But first we have to listen to the "right" voices in our head.

One way that I clean out those voices is to tell all that is within me shall worship Christ. Those voices, which is within me, that will not worship Christ are to leave my household, i.e. that is me, and go to the place allotted for them to await their time of judgement and punishment, never to return again to me.

Shalom

So was I speaking of where your abode is at the moment, or was i speaking of your other "home?"

Shalom
I think I get what you're saying. You're telling me to "clean house" spiritually/temple thing and God has a reason for me being here. I am sorry for kind of being out of it but I'm ill at the moment.

I have considered that tonight and getting back into some of the old ways of doing things. Funny that you should say that. A prophet when I was teenager said I would be doing something and mentioned it would be from where I was "originally" from. He asked where we were from, but my mom chimed in and told him where we lived at the time. He seemed confused about that and went along with it, but I know what he meant. I didn't really ever take any of it seriously and forgot about it until everything he said started happening.

I had never actually been here unless I was passing through, but I was actually born here. Came here after becoming *officially* homeless on my birthday years ago.

So apparently I'm supposed to be here, and the entire experience led me back to Christ, and if that guy is right then I do have to be here. I don't want to be here and to be honest I'm scared to believe the rest of what he said, because I am scared that if I do believe the rest, then I'll have to stay here longer and wait for life to fall apart so that I would learn my lesson on whether or not to believe something.

For someone to be on the other side of the world to be able to speak into the life of a person is daunting to say the least.

My Prayer for you is that God will continue to draw you closer into His loving Embrace. All I can do now is to give thanks that He has heard my prayer and is drawing you to Himself as I write, over and over again. Who knows where that will lead.

Shalom

:D Thank you, Jay Ross. I appreciate your prayers and will start working on it. If that guy and you are right, we're running out of time anyway provided I'm not misunderstanding the order of things.

Can't really mess up by doing good anyway
