    In my post #195, I should have also explained that I view the thousand years as the actual Sabbath, which is why Jesus is called the Lord of the Sabbath.

    The only way into that Sabbath is through Christ.

    Hebrews 4

    The Promise of Rest
    [sup]1[/sup] Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. [sup]2[/sup] For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them,[sup][a][/sup] not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. [sup]3[/sup] For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:

    “ So I swore in My wrath,

    ‘ They shall not enter My rest,’”[sup][b][/sup]
    although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. [sup]4[/sup] For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”;[sup][c][/sup] [sup]5[/sup] and again in this place: “They shall not enter My rest.”[sup][d][/sup]
    [sup]6[/sup] Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, [sup]7[/sup] again He designates a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” after such a long time, as it has been said:

    “ Today, if you will hear His voice,
    Do not harden your hearts.”[sup][e][/sup]

    [sup]8[/sup] For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. [sup]9[/sup] There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. [sup]10[/sup] For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

    I don't see the Holy Spirit forbidding a certain kinds of meat here, either:

    Acts 15:28-29 "For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well."

    Some of the Law's clean meats were offered also to idols so that cannot be referring to a certain kind of meat, but must be speaking of not partaking of portions of the meat with those who are making the offering upon the alter of an idol.

    Peter was instructed to kill and eat that which was before unclean. It was no longer unclean.

    Acts 11:7 (NKJV)
    [sup]7 [/sup]And I heard a voice saying to me, 'Rise, Peter; kill and eat.'

    Yes it was about unclean foods. Unless you think God was telling Peter to kill and eat Gentiles.

    Acts 11:7 (NKJV)
    [sup]7 [/sup]And I heard a voice saying to me, 'Rise, Peter; kill and eat.'

    Please do so:

    "Commanding to abstain from foods" is "DOCTRINES OF DEMONS". Which Paul also used the term "bewitched" for those who "desire to be under THE LAW".
    Well, yes it does. THE LAW was made "obsolete"

    Hebrews 8:13 (NKJV)
    [sup]13 [/sup]In that He says, "A new covenant," He has made the first obsolete.

    Tell that to Jesus and the thief on the cross.

    So have you figured out what "fallen from grace", "estranged from Christ" mean yet?

    Galatians 5:3-4 (NKJV)
    [sup]3 [/sup]And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. [sup]4 [/sup]You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

    How about when you tell your son you must kill him if he converts to another religion according to THE LAW?

    Deuteronomy 13:6-9 (NKJV)
    [sup]6 [/sup]"If your brother, the son of your mother, YOUR SON or your daughter, the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, secretly entices you, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods,' which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers, [sup]7 [/sup]of the gods of the people which are all around you, near to you or far off from you, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth, [sup]8 [/sup]you shall not consent to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him or conceal him; [sup]9 [/sup]but you shall surely kill him; your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people.

    Like I said, Eccl puts the tough commands in the past or future so he doesn't have to obey them, and at the same time ignoring NT doctrines that condemn what he preaches. I.E.

    Please give an explanation for the following....

    "How can Paul say flee fornication AND also mean that fornication has been nailed to the cross?"
    "How can Paul tell others he did not know that to covet was wrong and that he learned this from the laws in the OT, then turn around and tell those same listeners that they are not bound to keep the commandment of, "not to covet"?
    "How can Paul say, 'Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.", and at the same time say we are not under the law"?

    I have given the forum mine.

    What say you?

    .

    Ok.....here is your chance. Please explain the following;

    If you have a sound explanation for the above I am willing to hear it.

    You ignore questions but want answers. Here ya go.

    Galatians 5:18 (NKJV)
    [sup]18 [/sup]But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under THE LAW.

    So how about circumcision? You still gonna get circumcised to keep THE LAW? Or will you again avoid the issue?

    Galatians 5:3-4 (NKJV)
    [sup]3 [/sup]And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. [sup]4 [/sup]You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

    You constantly contradict yourself.

    See If you can get your head around this. Is Pauls answer to your question. Manly from verse 13

    Romans 7

    Sin’s Advantage in the Law

    [sup]7[/sup] What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”[sup][a][/sup] [sup]8[/sup] But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead. [sup]9[/sup] I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died. [sup]10[/sup] And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death. [sup]11[/sup] For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me. [sup]12[/sup] Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good.
    Law Cannot Save from Sin

    [sup]13[/sup] Has then what is good become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful. [sup]14[/sup] For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. [sup]15[/sup] For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. [sup]16[/sup] If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. [sup]17[/sup] But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. [sup]18[/sup] For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. [sup]19[/sup] For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. [sup]20[/sup] Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
    [sup]21[/sup] I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. [sup]22[/sup] For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. [sup]23[/sup] But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. [sup]24[/sup] O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? [sup]25[/sup] I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!
    So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

    Once again....you have only quoted scriptures. You have not given me an explanation, unless you call these (10) words your attempt at it.....

    This is your attempt at an explanation? This is the BEST you could come up with? Really?

    Sin advantage in the law? Please......tell us what this means? How does sin have an advantage in the law, when God tells us that sin is the breaking of His laws. Where is the logic behind your statement?

    And what does that mean anyway, "Law cannot save from sin"? Ok! Who ever said it could. God's laws let's us know what SIN is! God's laws let's us know what is wrong and what is right!

    So how does, "Sin's advantage in the law" and "Law cannot save from sin.", help those reading this lesson understand how Paul can say flee fornication, but at the same time (according to you) tells us the law of fonication does not have to be kept? This is what needs to be explained!

    If anything, the verses you quoted confirms that Paul knew God's and kept God's laws.

    And btw, what was the law of God that Paul served in his mind?

    Eccl,
    Are you ever going to answer Ducky's post? He's asked it twice and I've re-quoted it once, I've asked you the same question two times in another thread, this is going to make it the sixth time you're asked...

    Has the it changed or not?

    Only someone standing on un Biblical principles would think the Scriptures aren't sufficient.

    I have answered the questions several times. I take it you are either waiting for me to change my answer to suit your views, or you just do not like the answers I’ve given. Well….my answers will not change, for it cannot change unless God’s word is changed. And the only one that can do that has already told us the following…..

    “For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”

    “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”

    With that said, here are the times I’ve answered the question concerning whether or not Christ changed His laws about killing those that break certain commandments;

    From the lesson, “A simple question to the forum about getting into the kingdom of God”

    Page 3 post# 81

    Page 4 post# 92, 95, 99, 102, 105, 110, 112, 118,

    Page 5 post# 124, 128,

    Page 7 post# 187

    Below is a summery of my answer;

    As far as execution of law breakers, Jesus gave us the example to follow!

    John 8
    [3] And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
    [4] They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
    [5] Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
    [6] This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
    [7] So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
    [8] And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
    [9] And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
    [10] When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
    [11] She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

    Notice Jesus never said it was wrong, or even tried to stop those from throwing the stone. He just made them think, "Am I so perfect that I can condemn this women?"

    So with that said, could I excecute someone for a crime, knowing I myself am not sinless? Well I got to tell you.....it depends on the crime!

    And here is an example; If I caught someone, redhanded, killing a member of my family, though I am not perfect, I think I could pull the trigger!

    Could I kill someone else...say a homosexuals, adulterers, a thief......probably not!

    But as Jesus gave us to use as an example below......we do not HAVE to do it.....but He never says we cannot. He does ask that we examine ourselves before doing it though. He tells us to leave it all up to HIm at His coming!

    Jesus also gave us this for an example;

    Matt.13
    [30] Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

    Now just WHO do you think those are that are being gathered together to burn? Those that broke God's laws!

    SINNERS!

    And who is it that will come into God's barn?

    THOSE THAT KEPT GOD'S LAWS!!

    Jesus tells us to let the sinners and the righteous dwell together and HE will seperate them at His return!

    Here is where I answered the question concerning circumcision;

    Form the lesson, “Make No Mistake! God Will Kill Some For Not Keeping His Dietary Laws! Part 2”

    Page 7 post# 186 Below is my answer in it’s entirety;

    Let's look at the verse in question and pray for understanding while reading it;

    Gal.5
    [1] Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
    [2] Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
    [3] For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
    [4] Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
    [6] For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

    Now before going any further, I already know most will not understand what Paul is saying here. And the reason is that most do not understand that throughout Pauls writings, he speaks of (2) sets of laws. One set of laws are still enforced, and it will be these laws ALL men are judged. Then there are the set of laws, Paul speaks of, that have been done away with and nailed to the cross.

    If you were to read Paul's entire letter to the Galatians, and pray for understanding, you will see that the laws he speaks, are in fact those that have been nailed to the cross, which is why he says, "...Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law".

    The reader needs to understand that NO MAN can be cleared of sin by trying to obey ANY laws. The ONLY thing that has cleared us from our sins is the blood of Christ. And by that I mean that we have been spared dying the second death, because Christ shed His blood for us.

    What Paul is telling these Galatians is that, trying to keep the law of circumcision will not clear you of sin; Christ has already done that. But Paul is NOT saying that you do not have to be circumcised. Does any verse above say that a person does NOT have to be circumcised? I know it may seem that it says that, but it does not.

    Think about it....do you think that Paul taught the Gentiles a DIFFERENT gospel than what Peter taught "...those of the circumcision"? Not according to God's word;

    "But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. ....But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)"

    Christ does NOT have (2) agenda's. Christ does NOT have one set of laws that will grant the Jews salvation and another set of laws that will grant Gentiles salvation.

    Now let's use common sense here, would the revelation of Jesus Christ direct Paul to teach men NOT to keep God's laws? What ever the Jews have to do for salvation is the same for the Gentiles. It was like that in the OT, and it still stands today!

    Let's read what God's word has to say about being circumcised vs. not and who will be allowed to enter into His kingdom. To find it we must go to the same book that ALL of the apostles used and taught from....the OT! Let's read of a time of Christ 1000yr rule.....

    Ezek.44
    [9] Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.

    Now...to answer your question, "Were you circumcised to obey the law?"

    Not YET! But I will!

    But it will NOT be done to try to redeem myself from the curse of the law, for that law has been nailed to Christ's cross and was replaced with the blood of Christ. I will be circumcised to keep God's "other" covenat and law; the law that requires ALL males to be circumcsied;

    Gen.17
    [10] This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
    [12] And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
    [13] He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
    [14] And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

    How else will I be able to go and worship before God, during Christ 1000yr rule?

    "And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles."

    These are my answers. I cannot help it if you do not agree with them!

    Eccl, Paul can't be more clear that he's speaking against circumcision.

    5:1 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

    2 Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you. 3 I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to keep the whole law. 4 You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. 5 For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.

    7 You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? 8 This persuasion is not from him who calls you. 9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump. 10 I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view than mine, and the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is. 11 But if I, brothers, still preach circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been removed. 12 I wish those who unsettle you would emasculate themselves!

    13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another.

    I think, Eccl, that you are "unsettling" people. Paul wishes you'd emasculate yourself.

    Are you circumcised, Eccl?

    2:1 Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along with me. 2 I went up because of a revelation and set before them (though privately before those who seemed influential) the gospel that I proclaim among the Gentiles, in order to make sure I was not running or had not run in vain. 3 But even Titus, who was with me, was not forced to be circumcised, though he was a Greek. 4 Yet because of false brothers secretly brought in—who slipped in to spy out our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus, so that they might bring us into slavery5 to them we did not yield in submission even for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might be preserved for you.

    Note... If circumcision was something to be done why didn't Titus do it? Paul speaks positively toward it and speaks ill against the people who were saying otherwise.

    [font="Georgia][size="3"]
    [/size][/font]

    11 See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand. 12 It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh who would force you to be circumcised, and only in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13 For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. 14 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. 16 And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.

    Apparently Paul was distraught by false teachers like you because he was writing with big letters.
    According to Paul, people who want to push circumcision are idolaters.

    And unlike your heretical view, Paul does command us not to circumcise.

    18 Was anyone at the time of his call already circumcised? Let him not seek to remove the marks of circumcision. Was anyone at the time of his call uncircumcised? Let him not seek circumcision. 19 For neither circumcision counts for anything nor uncircumcision, but keeping the commandments of God. 20 Each one should remain in the condition in which he was called

    What good, would two circumcisions do?

    11 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.

    You clearly do not know which Covenant you are under. "Fallen from grace" and "estranged from Christ" means Hellbound.

    I think it can't even get clearer than: Let him not seek circumcision. Each one should remain in the condition in which he was called
    Which ties into your Galatians 5 passage.

    This will be the test of weather or not Eccl truly believes the entire Bible to be true or not. Either he can submit to it or deny what's clear, here.

    You guys sure are stuck on circumcision. I have answered the question. It is obvious you are not satisfied with my answer, but I already told you, it will not change.

    Since you guys are so into circumcision, here is something for you to consider.

    If you will read in Ezekiel, from the 40 chapter to the end it speaks NOTHING but Christ kingdom here on earth. Now let's read a verse from it....

    Ezek.44
    [9] Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.

    Again....this speaks of a future time here on earth. The one that is revealing this vision to Ezekiel is none other that the Lord.

    Now we know for a fact that ALL nation WILL have to come to worship the Lord in Jerusalem....

    "And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles."
    "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it."

    But at the same time God's word says the following, "...No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary..."

    Now how will those that have not gone under the knife be able to obey God's law!

    Oh yes! It will be a law that MUST be obeyed!

    What say ye?

    "You are fallen from grace" "Christ shall profit you nothing"
    It wasn't me who said I was gonna be circumcised.
    Actually that was written to those under THE LAW of Moses. Christians are not.
    I say you're in the wrong Covenant. The New says:

    Galatians 5:3-4 (NKJV)
    [sup]3 [/sup]And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. [sup]4 [/sup]You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

    So, Eccl, are you living in a damned state until you are circumcised? When do you plan on being circumcised?

    And contrary to your claims, Paul does say NOT to be circumcised.
    Let him not seek circumcision.
    Each one should remain in the condition in which he was called

    Ezek. 40 to the end of the book was a FUTURE vision. It speaks of a time when Christ will rule on this earth. It is for ALL nations that remain and have survived the Great Tribulation Period and the Lords Wrath.

    Again....ALL that are to come to worship before the Lord MUST be circumcisied. SO if you are blessed to have made it through and are among those that will be taught by the Lord for 1000yrs you MUST be circumcisied! God commands it!

    And if you do not come to worship before the Lord, there will be no rain for your crops. Like the commercial says, "You can pay me now, or you can pay me later." Either way, God's word is true! Let's read it again to confirm.....

    Ezek.44
    [9] Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.

    This event has not taken place! You cannot get around it! It is to happen in the future! ALL that are left WILL keep ALL of God's commandment or suffer! Here it is again.....

    And what will be the punishment for those that do NOT come before the Lord to worship Him? Let's read that also....

    "And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain."

    "This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles."
