There are the words in scripture "accepted " and " acceptable " that you will need to divide the two to see what is "accepted" and what is "acceptable."
5 having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. - Ephesians 1:5-6.
What is made accepted in the beloved is you? You, have been accepted in the beloved. So what is accepted in the beloved and what is acceptable in the beloved are two different things. One being spirit and one being soul. Accepted in the beloved is what made you who you are. It is something God did by the cross through Jesus Christ and the accepting of that finished work he provides humanity to reconcile them back to himself.
They are accepted in the beloved. Not only is there an acceptance in the beloved, but they were made accepted by the will of God. How are you made accepted by the will of God? of course by the cross but by God placing you in Christ and Christ in you - the moment you believe. Becoming your father by making you born again making you 'accepted in the beloved.' You see beloved, that is the dividing of soul and spirit because what this scripture says is in spirit you have been born again, birthed from on high by God almighty; who above all is a Father - did Jesus not call him Father.
Now; to add soul into the equation so to speak. In soul; you will go through the process of finding out (mind renewal) what is known as acceptable. Now that you are that birthed product of this Creator God almighty who is now become your father by the same process as any fatherhood - a birth. You will need to know what is acceptable and that comes by what the previous scriptures here say to be known as the process of adoption.
Adoption is written a few times in Scripture and always has to do with the process of Mind renewal not spirit but soul. So the process of learning who you are was predestined before the foundations of the world as well. And what we have written in scripture is the word acceptable; you understand the difference between soul and spirit. You have properly divided the two (soul and spirit) in the scriptures that are firmly written too the believer and how to understand to properly divide soul and spirit by what is written and it's necessity to understand who and what they speak.
12 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. - Romans 12:2.
So you understand now that you have been born again or a birthing has taken place by the Creator God almighty is now become your father in spirit by Spirit New birth. He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit. And you know what is acceptable, you understand that in soul you are still growing to know what happened in spirit or learning how to live, and that by your soul you express who you are. The reason for understanding is for expression - you know in whom you have believed.
And through that knowing, that understanding, that revelation, you (I say 'you' but it is Christ' now doing the living) express Christ or Christ is front and center (your only life) you express who it is that became your life the moment you believed. In spirit the Twain have become one. Accepted in the beloved "the Almighty finished work of God through the cursed tree of calvary," now has become your all and all. And we stand with our beloved apostle and say as Paul spoke plainly to the born again "I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live but it is Christ in me that liveth."
