Romans 8:15

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Now a further look at adoption you can see there is a moment in time (that moment in time will be determined by your father, Galatians 4:1-2) when you begin to see God as your father. We call it the abba father moment, he will cease just being God somewhere out there, to being God your father. He is no longer the angry Old Testament God framed out in the picture's of your mind, ready to strike at any minute. Sin is no longer your issue, but pleasing your father is your joy of living. The importance of the adoption process is possibly the greatest of all your father brings you through.

Many have fallen shipwrecked during the learning of the family spirit. They are told to do many things to feel better, they have many mountaintop experiences as well as valley's. But the adoption process holds true. The scriptures for an on going believer will prove invaluable to their growth. Such as; never will you be expected to carry more than you can handle. What we don't understand is we can handle alot, some more than others but the Lord knows.

How do we attain such understanding; simply by allowing the HolySpirit to teach and reveal Christ in us. You cannot see the father lest Christ reveals him to you. How do I know; you have a thing in you that knows, no man will have to confirm to you what you are seeing is true. When you see your father you will cry as our text said "abba father abba father" my father my father.

Look at another verse of scripture, Hebrews 5:8,

8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Though he was the Son of God he still had to learn obedience. Read it like it's written, no need to spiritualize it or get theological. King David said that obedience was better than a sacrifice. Learning to be a son will be greater than anything you can do for God. So don't think your suffering has nothing to do with your training. It does not matter how the suffering gets there it is there and will be used by your father to bring obedience and teaching and molding and making a son.
