Indeed it is, farouk! It is amazing that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, and as we have become partakers of his fullness, we can live again in him! Life and love is far better than death and hatred. There is too much death and hatred in the world by those who are obdurate in their sins. Repentance is the lifting of great burdens!

I've always liked this song, with the exception of ,"Twas grace that caused my heart to fear." The word fear meant respect and reverence 500 years ago. Today, it means to be afraid of. The correct (in my eyes) rendering today is reverential awe. This is the appropriate response to seeing, for example, the glory of God. Peace.
