I think points four and nine are particularly applicable. As to the rest I suppose I could take or leave it. Mostly leave it. :)

Being a pastor is the last job or career I would ever want.

Much of it is akin to babysitting adults

If a pastor has a crybaby congregation , he almost has to put a barrier around himself to preserve himself

And if he doesn't , he will lose himself , or his family life , or request a transfer to another congregation in order to escape.

Some smaller close knit groups function very well and for many years with their pastor , sometimes even for life

But it is rare.

I heard a story from my old Pastor who said that a particular minister came to take over another congregation and decided to move a piano from one side of the Church worship area to the other. There were serious outcries from the congregation who did not like change in any way or form...so he moved it back. He did however, slowly move the thing a few centimeters at a time [which no-one seemed to object about] until it was exactly where he wanted it. :unsure:
