I laughed way too hard at this. I actually feel bad for laughing when someones died.
I feel bad that the only way she was made to leave the office she'd long been unfit to hold was by dying.
They should leave according to the rules, and be cared for in private. Not put on public display as someone disintegrating before our eyes and those of the world.
The greatest nation on earth looks pretty sorry right now given our Congress and POTUS.
During President Trump's presidency the 25th amendment was often referred to by the Democrats as a way to oust him from office.
www.law.cornell.edu
While for members of our Congress there are two remedies for removal from office. Expulsion and Exclusion.
The 14th amendment allows in the case of Mitch McConnell who is also unfit to serve, to be removed from office. Yet, it isn't that easy to accomplish. And it is likely he will die while in office just as our longest serving female Senator did.
These people are supposedly our elected officials. Elected by us.
When they are demonstrably unfit to serve the office we entrusted them to as representatives on our behalf of our personal and collective national future, I feel it is incumbent on their oath of service to resign when they can no longer serve.
But they don't.
Because it is a facade.
They serve the will of those with the deepest pockets. Who steer this country in the direction they wish her to go. And we that are along for the ride are continually sold a bill of goods at the cost of our freedoms and liberty and quality of life do to the ever increasing cost of living.
And then we are told, we are responsible for voting them in.
Vote for change!
November 2020 was an open admission that even that is a lie.
People who make less than $200 thousand a year as Congressional members are multimillionaires!
Do the math!
So, if the only way a Democrat with a horrific record is able to be taken out of the office she sold, and in the end and for years was unfit to hold, is through death, so be it. Congress let that happen.
The 14th amendment wasn't honored by Congress to free her prior to that.
The blatant very public indifference to her incapacity once again reiterated Congress does not care that their corruption is open and obvious to all.
And Mitch McConnell is just the next proof of this. And he too will have to die before he leaves office any other way. If history is any indicator.
So, when one of the electorate these selfish, depraved, indifferent to their own members infirmities sellouts, makes the observation it is a good thing our country is finally free of a dangerous woman, who was out of her mind but was still a cutout put forth to make it appear she was the one doing her job, maybe realize something.
If Congress served with honor and did the job we thought we entrusted them to, we wouldn't have to opine today about how corrupt Congress is.
And worry about the direction our country is headed in.
And one final protracted point.
It has been said here that we are to love our enemies.
My sister had a very good point of view on that and I concur.
If I love those who label themselves my enemy and labor to that end against me and mine, I insult and diminish love and what it means when I say I love those who deserve it.
And as a Christian, who loves Jesus, who was also God my Father, if I am to assume the demeanor of one who is and lives Christ-like, it behooves me to recall what God said, thought, and did to his enemies.
If I'm to love mine in his name, I'm assuming a behavior that makes me morally superior in practice to Fathers own example.
However, if I am a member of a Roman council deciding on what to write in a book to be identified and prosecuted as God's own words, and wish to rule the world as Rome is certainly entitled to do, or so they thought, and meet little resistance to that end, writing in God's name that the conquered, by Rome, must love their enemies, Roman conquers, resist not evil, Roman invading armies, give to those who rob one of their purse, (or country), ones cloak also, and as slaves obey our masters as we do God, and concede all those put in power over we slaves are put there by the will of our God, would be a fine inroad to insuring the least resistance to the new Roman rule. Both politically and religiously.
It's not us! It's God's words. See? They're written right here!
So no, I don't love my enemies.
I don't love those who sell out my national future. I don't love a traitor in chief who has no respect for our borders and sovereignty as an independent nation that upholds and defends its borders. Open borders is treason. I don't love traitors.
And this one nation under God has laws that are very precise in matters of national security, prosecution of illegal entry, and treason!
And every single individual in all three branches of American government, our secular trinity, took an oath to uphold them. Against all enemies! Both foreign and domestic. So help them God!
Now, we the people are witness to enemies both foreign, as they illegally cross our borders and enter via our ports that Bush 43 allowed the UAE to control during his 1st term, and domestic.
And our Congress gives aid and comfort to them in the form of SNAP, Wic, and Medicaid. And by other means.
So, help us God.
Because we clearly are not able to help ourselves when we are led to believe we should love it!
