No. There are probably some things from scriptures used there but over all, one needs to go and look into the bible holistically.

Hello TheeFaith, what is taught by the historic creeds of Christendom, which includes those listed above by you + the Symbol of Chalcedon (but not the Didache) is accepted as being basically true by the entirety of the churches that fall within Christian orthodoxy, IOW, by the RCC, EOC, OOC and all Protestant churches/denominations (Presbyterian, Methodist, Anglican, Lutheran, Baptist, etc.), even by our evangelical churches which are not "creedal". They are more of a summation of certain aspects of Christian doctrine than they are a direct summary of parts of the Scriptures themselves (of course, the church teaches that Christian doctrine, such as the doctrine of the Trinity, is simply a summation of what the Bible teaches).

"Creed" means, "what we believe", just FYI.

Finally, I believe that all four of the church's historic creeds were originally written in response to a heresies of the day (the Nicene Creed was principally written to address the heresy of Arianism, for instance).

There are certain statements and words in the four creeds that are considered to be controversial (like the word "catholic", which means "universal", NOT "Roman Catholic" in the case of the creeds), so those (statements/words) need to be considered and their actual meaning understood. Nevertheless, as I said earlier, the four creeds and what they teach are (basically) held as being true by all of the churches and/or denominations that are found within the pale of orthodox Christendom.

God bless you!!

p.s. - here's a short, interesting article about The Apostle's Creed if you'd care to read it :) Also, all four of our historic creeds can be found online here: Historic Creeds | 4 Truth Ministry

I believe that they are mans traditions. Catholicism marched forth to the death of millions with those creeds. The marched into India and destroyed the church and its writings that st Thomas started.

It created theology on the philosophy of Socrates and Aristotle.
It nullifies many truths and disallows actual versus in the Bible and over extends others. It allowed for non Christians to start dogma that still to this day dismembers the body of Christ to where there is no power to convert others thru signs and wonders. On and on they have failed us and continues to fail us
