The word Doctor in the Bible and in the Greek means a rabbi and teacher of God's Word and if you understand what we are being trained up to be... you should be studying to be a doctor and the only manual you need to study and follow.. is our E-manual the Word made flesh sent to us from our Father in heaven. We not only have the written Word to tell us what God requires but being of a better covenant God sent His Word in bodily form to show us what it should look like when the Word lives not only on paper, but in us. And He knew that we could not do it in our own ability, so He made it possible through His Son's paid ransome to give us His Spirit to who so ever will!
Godly kings and priests rule and are guided by the Word of God or they are not of God's kingdom.
Rev 1:5-6
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
