I was thinking it would a good idea to share this below from another view on the OP of the statement made by Jesus: Be Ye Perfect, Even As Your Father Which Is In Heaven Is Perfect, taken from another site, but mainly from the OP from this site of posts #1, and #18 please if interested,

A person must legally be here on earth born of water/childbirth.
To be perfect the way our FATHER In heaven IS Perfect Is to be born again of the SPIRIT and after being born again of the SPIRIT we should present our bodies a living sacrifice.
John 3:5-8
King James Version
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

Sidenote:Some believe baptism Is talking about baptism In water but JESUS said

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
IF you do not realize that the rebirth took place in your spirit then it can be confusing to your mind worshiping GOD standing in front of a physical mirror.
