I'm from Western PA originally. Pennsylvania is such a beautiful State.

This video is very lovely. @dev553344 @Nancy

Beautiful. I have been blessed by my next door neighbors who allow me and my dog to use their 14 acres of trails much like this, also a stream with rapids! Although sans the rocks, lol.
Just so peaceful and an awesome place to be alone with God and His creation!

Nancy, that's so great you have such a lovely environment to enjoy.

I guess in the Summer or maybe late Spring, you have to be careful of Rattlesnakes and Copperheads?

N.Y. does have both of those species but, not around my area. Mostly near the Hudson Valley and the Catskills. Timber rattlers are in and around the Adirondacks.
I have seen snakes on my walks but probably only Gardner snakes.

When I was a child in Pennsylvania, we took a vacation to the Youghiogheny Dam area in PA.

My dad loved to fish, we often did it in Pittsburgh. There was a sign at the top of the dam not to go beyond that. It was a hill of boulders that led down to the water.

My dad and cousin ignored the sign, although my mom pointed it out! After a few minutes Dad and cousin came scrambling back up the hill. They said they started to hear all of this rattling! They were walking on Timber Rattlesnake dens!!!
