Doctrine doctrine doctrine

its a dirty word because

its no fun to find out what a sinner humans all are .. no wonder bible doctrine is a dirty word

DOCTRINE shows our filthy sins

But it has a loving side also----------- THE BIBLES DOCTRINE ALSO shows our loving savior from sin.. Jesus Christ.

THE MORE ONE LEARNS BIBLE DOCTINE tHE MORE THEY REALIZE HOW DESPERTLY THEY NEED JESUS.

so it is a filthy dirty word because it shows how filthy and dirty we WOULD BE with out the blood of Jesus.

My denomination is Pentecostal Holiness. Years ago it was such a strict denomination that it was impossible to live a life above the preaching. I mean everything was a sin, woman wearing slacks, going to the movies, makeup... The old timers didn't have a problem with you dating their daughters... As long as it was in eye shot of the front porch.

Nowadays nothing is a sin. So my denomination went from one extreme to another. :(

The bible says Jesus only came to save sinners .

So isnt that a big problem for your denomination .

SINCE there only two places the soul goes.

one has to have real and true sins to be saved

Jesus does not save fictious sinners..

There is no such thing as "fictious sinner". All sinners are real and all people are sinners.

Jesus is the only one who died with no sin of His own this is why He could not stay dead and this is why He can take your sins.

I cannot get into any denomination which attempts to convince others in the world, by their outward appearance, they have changed inside. I am not saying all PH are full of pride, but I know many that are because of the dress code, etc. Dress codes, hair length, and pants are just laws and place folks into Condemnation.

We have numoerous friends that are PH and have gone to their church and we are seeing the dress code relax a bit and same for makeup and hair length.

I will never forget when a childhood friend of mine came to visit us last year, he was a very legalistic Baptist. We went to church together on a Tuesday night during a revival week and his wife and him about had a stroke when our praise leader(woman) was leading praise in Blue Jeans, they fully stroked out when the pastors wife got up and started ministering to women on the altar line and was wearing blue jeans. He went insane when the visiting evangleist and our pastor had on blue jeans...

They allowed themsleves to work thorugh that one service and by the end of that week of revival, they were changed by the power of the Holy Ghost and came into a new season in their walk. I was asked to go to his new church and preach awhile ago and GASP! his own wife was in blue jeans and actually ministering on a prayer line and laying hands on women...Praise God!
