The Hebrew Bible doesn’t have the Song of Solomon, Roman Catholic has several extra books added to it, Greek Orthodox has even more added to their scriptures, then you have the for mention Protestant Bible, pertaining to the Old Testament Scripture.

It is called "the Song of Songs" (Shir haShirim). So it does have this book. The 24 canonical books in the Hebrew Tanakh are exactly represented in the 39 books of the Protestant Old Testament. The Catholic and Greek Orthodox bibles have many apocryphal books, which were first incorporated into the Septuagint.

The Hebrew bible indeed has the Song of Solomon...the Shir Hashirim. The order of the books is different...There is the Torah...the Nevi'im (prophets) and the Ketouvim (writings). The Song of Songs (as it is referred to in the Tanach) is in the latter part...the writings.

Hello to you both,

It’s listed on that list, under Hebrew Bible.

Thank you for pointing it out.

When did the Roman and Orthodox Church add to the inspired canon then?

There is a huge expand of time that has came by since 2000 BC, 500 bc, 200bc, Ad 1, Ad 100, 200, 300, Ad 500, Ad 600, Ad 1,300, Ad 1,500, Ad 1555, Ad 1600, Ad 1800, Ad 1900, to considered when it comes to all the different history intakes on how we got the bible.

You may be able to seek out information online to your question.

This book I am using was found in a Walmart super center, and a few days ago being there I seen them on a block shelf right near by the electronic section.

It is called Rose Book of Bible Charts, Maps & Time lines if you are interested in that, one of the main reasons it was bought is for the maps, and it had a lot more to offer when I peering inside of the books to make the decision to buy or not. It has a lot of helpful information!!

In love to all, of Christ,
Matthew Gallagher
