Amen. This reminds me of the verse that says, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is destruction" (I'm paraphrasing).

Many can be convinced that sin is excusable based on this doctrine or that, but they seem to forsake the fear of the Lord by adopting those views. He still hates sin, and will not abide by it in the lives of those He loves. It will be dealt with eventually. But for those who become so wise that they will no longer hear the exhortation to depart from evil, what can He do? They won't listen, not matter what judgments may befall them to tell them otherwise.

It's a reminder to always consider as sin what God Himself calls sin, and not change our morality to suit the world, or someone else's body of beliefs.

Today or never! Tomorrow may never come for you or for me or for that other guy!

The time of growing is now, today! Without God working in us, certainly, we cannot grow closer to Him, but without us striving with what we have and opening ourselves continually to Him, God cannot work in us. God has limited Himself with regard to men and will not go against His own Word.

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." Gen 1:26-28

That dominion includes over ourselves, does it not, since we also one of those living things... but we [our first carnal parents] messed in the beginning going against God's Way of doing things? But a merciful loving God sent His Son to make it possible for us to have the dominion once more, but for the most part people who have come to Him [so it seems to me] have limited God as those in the OT limited God.

"Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.
They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy." Psalm 78:41-42

God will lead us back to full dominion over all of His creation but we must want to be like Him now. We must work with Him now to become like Him. Alone for us this is impossible and if we do not join in with whatever we have, God cannot help us! He limited Himself and we limit Him!
