Ah, Eliphaz the Temanite comes to rebuke Job for his unrighteousness.
The verse comes from one whom the Lord himself rebuked:
Job 22:1 Then
Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,
Job 22:2 Can a man be profitable unto God, as he that is wise may be profitable unto himself?
Job 22:3 Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous? or
is it gain
to him, that thou makest thy ways perfect?
Job 22:4 Will he reprove thee for fear of thee? will he enter with thee into judgment?
Job 22:5 Is not thy wickedness great? and thine iniquities infinite?
Job 22:23 If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
Job 42:7 And it was
so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to
Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me
the thing that is right, as my servant Job
hath.
This one is for Job.. :)
