This spirit has been around since Bible times:
“And they called [the apostles], and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard. So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.” (Acts 4:18-21)
I saw other reports by Newsmax that were totally blown out of proportion. If it becomes law, talking about Jesus in Israel will be punished with imprisonment.

Makes me wonder about this one.
Can you find any? That’s reasonable. My advice: Check other sources for confirmation.
I concur--"the revived Sanhedrin"--I think you know how many are not even aware of what is going on right now.

No, nothing of this sort in S. Africa, yet--I think the root cause is, and always will be, racism, abroad and here.Well in the States they have been selectively, in many businesses outlawing the talk and writings of Jesus. One recent incident occurred in a major Shopping Mall I think in either Georgia or Virginia (the latter I think) where a person wearing a T-shirt with the words in front 'Jesus saves' and other words I believe on the back was forcibly escorted and man-handled out of this Mall. It's happening all over the States. I don't know how it is Canada, NZ or Oz or even in S. Africa.
Johann: I believe it is more about the surge by resistive and offensive demon spirits of this world who are succeeding in influencing the weak, and compromise human minds and spirits to fight their battle against goodness and God on a global scale. These spirits of this world who hate Christ and his messengers. Racism is another can of worms altogether. No, nothing of this sort in S. I want to thank @Matthias for posting this video clip, anarchy and lawlessness rampant.
Stay strong in Christ

I was under the impression that Israel was mostly comprised of jews???
aren't the Palestinians the minority now?
and so since there's so many jews in Israel, why would they outlaw speaking Jesus name?Latest Population Statistics for Israel

I thought Jesus is a jew???
that doesn't add up.
and what percentage would you surmise make up those categories? There are Jews who believe Jesus is the Messiah and there are those who don’t. Those who don’t are they who propose such a law.
