Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Luke 13:32
And He said to them, “Go, tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

Revelation 1:19
Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.

1-2-3...can you see it?

It should be a Revelation.

I think all the times we know of can be considered relative to the cross. Before, during, and after.

Revelation 1
19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

We are on the outskirts of the things which are and the things which will be hereafter. We are rapidly approaching the time that has been described as the days of Noah.

The point is that the similar language tells us exactly what time it is, that the times of each statement are the same....meaning that each refers to them all, and the timing is the time that Christ [was] "perfected."

I don't believe so, for a thousand years is as a day to the Lord , so in Godly terms, the Lord Jesus have been gone only a couple of days, (two thousand years) and a few hours and some minutes...... and the clock is ticking.

Time is an element that resides throughout the Bible, as for example in the Bible book of Genesis, in which God divides his preparation of the earth for human habitation into 6 "creative" days, and then the 7th "creative" was God's "rest (or sabbath) day".(Gen chps 1 and 2, whereby each "creative" day is about 7,000 years long)

Then at Genesis 15, God (whose personal name is Jehovah) lays out a timeline for Abraham's descendants to inherit the land of Canaan.(Gen 15:13, that began with 19 year old Egyptian Ishmael mocking 5 year old Isaac in 1913 B.C.E., Gen 21:8, 9 and was completed when the Israelites left Egypt in 1513 B.C.E. and fulfilled the 400 years decreed)

Then moving forward to the time of Daniel, around 605 B.C.E., whereby Daniel explains the meaning of the "immense image" of a man that Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar saw in a dream and that has deep meaning for our time.(Dan 2:1,31)

This dream, caused by Jehovah God, unveils a time line of political kingdoms or world powers that personally affects his people, starting with the Babylonian dynasty of kings (as the "head of gold"), meandering through Medo-Persia (as the chests and arms of sliver), on to Greece (as the abdomen and thighs of copper), next Rome (as the legs of iron), and then finally "the feet.....partly of iron and partly of clay".(Dan 2:32,33)

The "feet.....partly of iron and partly of clay" brings the lineage of political governments that has a deep impact on Jehovah's people to our time frame. What "kingdom" or political government is derived from the dissolution of the Roman Empire that is now the 7th and final political world power ?(see Rev 17:9, 10, whereby the apostle John is told that of "seven kings: Five have fallen (Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece), one is (Rome) and the other has not yet arrived")

The dual combination of Britain-America, for Britain was once a colony of Rome from 43 C.E. to 410 C.E., when Rome pulled out of Britain.(Roman soldiers established the community of Londonium that is now called London)

This last political world power has some of the remnants of Rome or "iron" like characteristics of being strong, but is also "partly clay" that does not stick to "iron", being "mixed with the people", causing it to succumb to the unstable whims or views of the people.(Dan 2:41-43)

But at Daniel 2:44, it identifies that a non-political government or one ' not made with hands' of a human (Dan 2:34) is created by Jehovah God, saying: "In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms and it alone will stand forever".

Thus, when was God's Kingdom established or "set up" ? Not while Jesus was on the earth, while Rome was the dominant world power, but far into the future when the final political world power would be ruling. Jesus told his disciples an illustration about this, for they were asking whether the Kingdom would be restored right then.(Luke 19:11)

He said: "A man of noble birth traveled to a distant land to secure kingly power for himself and to return".(Luke 19:12) So when did Jesus, as the "man of noble birth.....secure kingly power" ? Revelation 6 gives us clues, saying that a "white horse" had a rider on it that had a bow and "a crown was given him".(Rev 6:2)

But immediately upon this rider on the "white horse" receiving "a crown" or "kingly power", there comes forth "a fiery-colored horse.....that was granted to take peace away from the earth so that they should slaughter one another and he was given a great sword".(Rev 6:4)

When was "peace taken from the earth", causing global conflict for the first time in history ? In 1914 with the outbreak of World War I on July 28 of that year. It was in that year when Jesus secured "kingly power" and has been reigning over his loyal people ever since.

But soon, this heavenly government will take decisive action to "crush" not only the 7th political world power of Britain-America, but all political governments and their supporters.(Rev 19:19-21) But before their demise, they have an assignment to accomplish in which Jehovah causes them to come to hate all the religions of the world, given the name of Babylon the Great and rightly called a "prostitute" that has engaged in "sexual immorality" with the "kings of the earth".(Rev 17:1,2,5), so that they are completely destroyed at the behest of the "eighth king", the United Nations.(Rev 17:16,17; 18:8)

Who will survive this "great tribulation" ? Revelation 7 says that a "great crowd", those who are "waving palm branches" with their hands, seeking genuine peace with Jehovah God, the "one faith" that pleases God.(Eph 4:5; Rev 7:9) These are the ones who have ' called on the name of Jehovah in order to be saved '.(Rom 10:13, Joel 2:32)

@guessman, Jeremiah around 9 years after Daniel's Statue Prophecy gives more details in Jeremiah 50 fills in more of the details concerning the fate of the land of the Chaldeans and tells us that the Land of the Chaldeans will be devastated and desolated by the King of the North of the Greek Empire, one of the manifested heads of the Third beast of Daniel 7 for a period of around 2,000 years which ended just after WW1.

As such the Roman Empire is not the fourth Segment of the Statue Prophecy of Daniel's and therefore the fifth segment cannot be the revived Roman Empire.

But then the Reformation fathers used this prophecy in their fight to break the hold that the Roman Catholic Church had over Christendom and the Reformation fathers demonising of the Roman Catholic Church has created a false interpretation of this prophecy which has been hard to shake off ever since.

The fourth Segment of the Statue that had dominion over the land of the Chaldeans by lines that happened to be drawn on a map to create the Middle eastern Islamic States just happens to be Iraq and we know from recent history of the last 16 years who the king of the north that invaded Iraq/the Land of the Chaldeans in our recent history with a league of twenty nations was.

All of this can be discerned from the Bible and world history.

That of course is more or less the common interpretation...and yet it is not true. Daniel's interpretation of the dream was not of the future, but of the "last days", which is everyday and all of time.

Christ's reign began when He overcame the world and ascended to the right hand of Power.

@ScottA, What is the time for the Dan 7:13-14 passage?
It would depend on the context: If from God's timeless perspective, then "before the foundation of the world." If in the context of the cross, then that very "hour." If in the context of the worldly timeline according to witnesses, then at Pentecost. In the context of any individual believer, then "before the foundation of the world"...or..."today", that day of first belief.
