"Poland is weighing up whether it can intercept Russian rockets on course to strike Ukrainian cities, Warsaw has said, as Western allies step up shipments of air defenses to help protect civilians and critical energy infrastructure." Poland mulls shooting down Russian missiles over Ukraine amid wave of deadly attacks

Russia appeared to have destroyed a Ukraine Childrens hospital which had terrible consequences. A short brief about that:

"The hospital’s director told the UN Security Council that the strike severely damaged several departments, including the intensive care units and oncology and surgical wings, and completely destroyed the toxicology and traumatology departments. The director also said that hundreds of children, including those undergoing dialysis treatment, were evacuated immediately after air raid sirens went off at 9:52 am." Russia’s July 8 Attack on a Children’s Hospital in Ukraine

The children in the hospital apparently were under life saving care that required treatment to live or not be injured which could result in permanent injury to their bodies. It was dialysis treatment. If left untreated this condition is stated to have the following consequences:

"Hemodialysis is a life-saving treatment when your kidneys are no longer able to remove waste products and extra water from your body. The dialysis machine takes over this function for your kidneys. Dialysis treatments are usually done 3 times a week and each treatment lasts about 4 hours." Missing Dialysis Treatment Is Dangerous for Your Health

So there appears to be a UN human rights violation during warfare between Russia and Ukraine. UN has been notified and should respond. I am on the side personally and I suspected Jesus the Christ was also, that we didn't like the Ukraine war to begin with. Now the UN must decide who is at fault. And that might appear to be a complicated issue depending on which side you lean with given the facts. Russia was the first to make war actions by invading. Russia also claimed that they had reason to invade.

But the real issue for us other nations that are not actively involved in the war is this:

Will Poland's idea to shoot down missiles over Ukraine territory when directed at eastern targets in Ukraine lead to war between NATO and Russia. I'm concerned it will and possible or probably start nuclear war. I can wonder about that given the aggressive statements coming out of Russia regarding that issue.

Perhaps we could all pray that nuclear war is averted and the leaders begin to de-escalate war and tensions.

So far NATO has supplied weapons to Ukraine and it has not been considered by Russia as declared an act of war. And I have seen that in Israel against Hamas. But this Poland idea, is directly engaging in war against Russia. Perhaps it is a protective measure for the children and other targets would be human rights violations. But there is a bigger picture if nuclear war breaks out. Who are the targets of nuclear attack and to what extent will the death toll and destruction to society be.

This sounds like an internal NATO discussion.

The other issue is whether Russia intended to hit those Human Rights violating targets. Official statement from Russia?

"MOSCOW, July 9 (Reuters) - Russia denied on Tuesday that it had attacked a Kyiv children's hospital and said, without providing evidence, that Ukrainian anti-missile fire was to blame for Monday's strike. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov repeated Moscow's insistence that it does not attack civilian targets in Ukraine." https://www.reuters.com/world/europ...y-anti-missile-fire-not-by-russia-2024-07-09/
