CHR1a: Carmel Chronology Challenge—for ALL Jews

What Is the Challenge, and Who Is It For?

The title says: “ALL” Jews; and that includes spiritual Jews (Gentile Christians), as well as all literal Jews (Messianic, Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Karaite, etc). Actually, the challenge is for anyone and everyone—including Muslims, Buddists, and atheists, etc. However, this study is especially for two main categories of people: #1 spiritual Jews, who don’t keep festivals and/or have limited knowledge and little interest in biblical chronology; #2 literal Jews (or others), who do observe festivals and/or are very informed about calendar calculation controversies.

Category #1 needs this study, in order to see the amazing value and great benefits of biblical chronology—whether or not you observe any festivals. And this study is not at all addressing festival observation; instead, it is addressing festival timing: so you can understand God’s chronology plan, and alignment of many events with festival dates. This might be a bit long or tedious, especially for those who are not already familiar with chronology basics; but once you get through this current study: you will probably see that it’s well worth the time and effort, to wade through some initial technical details—and then it will be relatively easy to follow the additional chronology studies, yet to come.

Category #2 needs this study, in order to see that essentially EVERYONE—in the calendar controversies community—has missed one extremely important fact: there is more than one biblical calendar! It is true that there’s only one main calendar, when it comes to the festivals; but there are three main biblical calendars, for the purpose of aligning significant events. All 3 calendars, plus the Carmel chronology, can be found in Hebrew Bible—without using the New Testament (NT); although there is extra support in the NT (included in this study, for the sake of those who accept the NT). If you understand only one calendar: it is nearly impossible to find the exact year and day, of even one important biblical event. For example, Mount Carmel: can you find exactly what day Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal, using only the Hebrew festival calendar? Never! Can you find it using the three biblical alignment calendars? Yes!!!

Then what is the Carmel chronology challenge? Similar to Elijah on Mount Carmel: the “only one biblical calendar” teachers of today are challenged to find dates, which fit the Mount Carmel story better than the dates presented here. Additionally, the challenge includes finding a system of chronology (better than presented here)—which produces the exact year and day for not only Mount Carmel, but for every major biblical event (as well as many relatively minor events). And if that can’t be done, then it’s clearly time to accept this system of three biblical calendars.

The full study is 13 pages, and too long for the forum. So I have uploaded a PDF to a free public website—here is the link: CHR1a.pdf | PDF Host

The PDF is also attached to this thread.

Note: I ran out of time to format the PDF; maybe in a week or so I will edit the PDF, and improve the formatting, etc.
