Isaiah 26:21 & 27:1 The Lord is coming from His dwelling place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their sins. Their crimes will be revealed, all their wrongdoing exposed to view and on that Day, the Lord, with His cruel sword will punish Satan, that great deceiver.

Isaiah 27:2-5 On that great Day, that the Lord destroys His enemies, He will look to His people; Israel the vine, Judah the fig tree. He has given them every opportunity to obey His commands, but they have not been faithful. If only they were not My Covenant people, says the Lord, I would have trampled them down like weeds. Now, if they come to Me for refuge and make their peace with Me, I will bless them and they will fill the earth with righteousness.

Isaiah 27:6-9 In time to come Jacob’s descendants [natural and spiritual] will settle into all of the holy Land, they will live there in peace and prosperity. The Lord will not strike them as He will with the enemies. He will slaughter their attackers and wipe out those who hate His people. [The Gog/Magog attack. Joel 2:20]

The Lord’s judgement against the Israelites [all 12 tribes] has been expiated by their exile from the holy Land, their iniquity has now been wiped out. This removal of their sins has the result; that they destroy all traces of what caused their transgressions.

Isaiah 27:10-13 On the Day that the Lord takes action, military ordnances will be destroyed, what is left will be used as fuel for cooking. All those people who failed to revere their Maker are without sense. He will give them no mercy, He who formed them will show them no favour.
On that Day, the Lord will search for His people. He will sound the trumpet call for all those of the House of Israel who were lost in Assyria, [the ten Northern tribes] and those of the House of Judah, [the Jewish people] dispersed around the world. They will be gathered one by one and will come to worship their God on Jerusalem’s holy Mountain.

Isaiah 43:1-2 But now, you Israelites, this is the Word of the Lord, your Creator: Have no fear, for I have redeemed you. I will call you by name, you are Mine. When you pass through water I will be with you, it will not overwhelm you. You will pass through fire and not be scorched, the Day of flaming retribution will not burn you. Psalms 97:1-12, Daniel 3:19-27 Ref: REB. Abridged and paraphrased.

The great story, to happen in the very near future:
The Lord will use a natural event to punish the world for its sins. On that great Day, a CME sunstrike will burn up the attackers of Israel and wipe out those who hate His people. Malachi 4:1, Psalms 83, Micah 4:11-12
On that terrible Day of His flaming retribution, Isaiah 30:26-30, the Lord will look to His people, all who call upon His Name and protect them from the scorching fire that will envelope the earth, Isaiah 13:9-13, Zephaniah 3:8 then He will gather all faithful Christians, be they Jacob’s descendants or grafted in, into the holy Land. Isaiah 66:18b-21, Isaiah 10:17-23, Romans 9:24-27
There, they will at last, be as God intended: a holy people, a light to the nations and sending out 144,000 missionaries to proclaim the coming Kingdom of Jesus. Revelation 14:1-7

man, it's sad to me that this is what passes for Christian belief nowadays.
not even that so much, i mean we all pretty much begin with a fear of God, but i don't recall being near so confident/uncommunicative on the matter? i believed in...well, the whole ball of wax at one time, rapture, mass tribulation, immortality, you name it.

i was a member of Word of Faith in Grand Prairie at an impressionable age, ah, what was the guy's name, i met Marty, never met him--my "pastor" lol--ah, Tilton, ya, Robert Tilton. You fam with him, Keraz?

Be a teacher if you think you want to, i understand, but that isn't going to turn out like you want prolly, ok? Teachers can answer students' questions, and etc?

Better imo to acknowledge that you want to be known as an Oracle--which i guess you have essentially done already...ah, no, not essentially i guess, have done--and then at least the Scriptural mandate for Oracles will be understood to apply to you, ok? I'd be confirming what that is fwiw. Ok have a nice day bro

I have never heard of Robert Tilton. I take no cognizance of those types, the commentators or TV preachers. And especially of those who push their theories on Bible prophecy forums.
I am a messenger, a proclaimer of the Prophetic Word, as my name means and what I post is scriptural. Take it or leave it.

If there were sensible questions, I can help as I can claim to know the Bible prophesies very well, but scoffing and denigration is of no use to anyone and just leaves you in the dark about God's plans for our future.

Isaiah 52:1-14 Awake; Awake, Zion, put on your strength! Jerusalem, holy city, put on your splendid garments, for the heathen and the ungodly will never again enter you. Arise, captive city – shake off the dust and undo your bonds, you captive daughter of Zion.
The Lord says: You were sold, but no price was paid and without payment you will be redeemed. My people were captives in Egypt, then in Assyria, but now what do I find? My people in exile and My Name reviled constantly. But on the Day that I save My people, they will know My Name and know that it is the Lord who speaks. Here I am!

Deliverance is announced, as the Lord bares His holy arm and makes His power seen by the whole world. The watchmen of Zion shout for joy amid the ruins of Jerusalem, for the Lord has comforted His people.

Go out, leave Babylon behind, keep pure, you that keep the sacraments of the Lord. But you will not flee in urgent haste or leave like fugitives, for the Lord will go before you and your rearguard will be Israel’s God. My servant will achieve success; He will be honored and exalted. The time was when many despised My people, just as My servant is despised and rejected, but now they will see what they had never understood and their minds will be filled with things unheard of before. Ref: REB. Abridged.

‘My people – in Assyria’, This refers to the ten Northern tribes of Israel, now the Western, Christian Nations. But specifically: the Lord’s people are now every faithful Christian, from every race, nation and language. Revelation 5:9-10

‘The Lord bares His holy arm – His power seen by the whole world’, This will be the next action of the Lord on earth. It is the many prophesied Great Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, a terrible judgement/punishment of fire, earthquakes, storms and tsunamis that will devastate and depopulate the entire Middle East, Ezekiel 30:1-5, and will severely affect all the world.

‘My servant’, The Lord Jesus Christ. It is Jesus who instigates this disaster, as we are told in Luke 3:17. He will not be seen on that Day, Psalms 18:11, Habakkuk 3:3-6, and from the many graphic descriptions of this event, He will cause a Coronal Mass Ejection, an explosion of the suns surface of an unprecedented magnitude that will cause all the prophesied effects. Isaiah 30:25-30

‘The Lord saves His people’, Those faithful Christians, born again in Jesus, who keep His commandments, who trust in Him for their salvation and who heed the warnings to take shelter, will be protected on that Day. Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21

‘Go out of Babylon, but not as fugitives’, Babylon: a metaphor for the ungodly nations. The Lord’s people have wonderful promises of how they will be transported back into all of the holy Land, where they will live in peace and security. Palms 107

‘What they never understood’, The Lord’s plans are impossible to know by any atheist or false religion follower, but also those who study God’s Word in the Bible, if they have failed to properly discern the prophetic scriptures and allowed themselves to be swayed by false doctrines and teachings.

So bbyrd, I guess you leave it?
Is that wise, or even sensible? They are the Words of scripture, as God gave us, thru His prophets a very comprehensive account of His Plans, I regard that to ignore so much of the Bible, as a sin.

If you have any objection to my comments and explanations, then lets discuss them. In a reasonable and coherent way. I say 'coherent' because what you post is often not.

ya, funny, i get that a lot, but when i have in the past gone back and clarified, the problem usually becomes immediately clearer lol
anyway, trust me, you wouldn't like it any better ok

have you found the Hegelian Dialectic that Paul directs us to understand? Or was that too incoherent also Keraz?
bc i have no objections or comments that you even could discuss right now i guess, or my objection if anything might be that you cannot discuss anything, period, at least right now, but see that is no skin off me ok, ppl are allowed to Stand where you are standing right now if they want to, oh, and i just got the...joke, warning, whatever inherent @ "having done all to stand, stand." hmm

While I agree with Keraz that there is most assuredly coming a crisis beyond the imagination of man, I would actually go further and say a crisis of such magnitude that will leave the world, not just the middle east, completely depopulated. While apocalyptic language is sometimes symbolic, it does relate to literal events. Take for example the following....
Jer. 25:30 ¶ Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.
31 A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.
32 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
33 And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.

Isaiah 24:18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

Jer. 5:23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.
27 For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.
28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

The NT agrees that there is coming a time of great conflagration. Such consistency of scripture cannot be lightly dismissed as purely figurative. The timing however, and the details of application, are certainly up for debate. But when scripture says that God shall come to take vengeance on those who rebel against Him, and refuse the numerous offers of mercy and grace that have been extended earthward for 6000 years, then we need to take it seriously. God of course does not take this lightly. That He sent His own Son and the husbandmen murdered the heir of the vineyard in order to retain their position and place in society, is not an occasion He will set aside and ignore...nor will He brush aside the excuses and reasonings of philosophers who create paradigms of their own musings in order to meet their own agendas.

ppl do all manner of things to put themselves in the place of the perceived winners, bl, ignoring the place they have chosen to sit and the pits they dig for others to fall into in the process i guess. Imo seek an interp that is valid today, and see the Great Tribulation that any soul must endure to walk the narrow path, imo

but will things be diff tomorrow than they are today? will something new come into the world, tomorrow?
Certainly it might--to those who have never seen it!

do yourself a favor imo, and go to Israel (the country i mean, not the real one) while it is so cheap, and witness who is having progeny ten deep, and who cannot hardly even have any children
    for yourself, first hand

i might even put a junket together, a Dental Vacation, bc you can get up to like 4-5 implants done in a week or so in the Sinai for like almost nothing, a couple hundred bucks each? i think it was $188 each? Better dentists, too.

But i would take Christian believers, and watch them split down the middle during the trip, like was (inadvertently) done to me. Everyone comes home with awesome new teeth for a relative steal--supposedly the whole point, see--and not a single mention of them on the trip home! Ha!

Tried to find the thread about time to ask you a question. I don’t want to derail the thread but: I believed (past tense) in ‘immortality’....? What do you mean? You no longer believe the mortal must put on the immortal?

yes, but i am pretty sure now that that is a dialectic statement that is intended to be taken two ways, in this context i will say one way by someone who believes that their ego becomes immortal when they become "saved"--their ego being the part of them they ID with--and another by those who see that their ego is the part that must die in order for them to become One, which i am not meaning to infer that that is me, either, in fact i'm pretty sure it isn't tbh

i could maybe ref some who have accomplished this, and have "put on immortality," you would certainly be fam with their names--after all, they have "put on immortality" lol--but you might object to the characterization.

1 Corinthians 15:53 Lexicon: For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Strong's Greek: 1746a. enduó -- to clothe or be clothed with (in the sense of sinking into a garment)

wherein i am seeing some "helping hands" there, @ "in the sense of sinking into a garment," which reeks to me at first glance, see now we're talking about the outer again, etc, but i'll go check some other sources for enduo's etymology...
Strong's Greek: 1416. δύνω (dunó) -- to enter, to sink into
putting on a garment is now related to the sun setting, or "sinking into" the earth i guess? And the Sun is being invoked here also, Sol, not Christ, so don't get me wrong the Sun reps Christ too, to the regenerated anyway, but imo a ref is being made to the Cult of Sol, and i don't know but let's admit that the author could as easily have written "and this mortal must become immortal" right, but he did not

And this mortal must sink into immortality

like the setting of the sun, long understood to be...well, see how this phrase can be taken more than one way, man, like maybe 5 ways, mortal instead of soul, sink into instead of put on, lots of symbology here imo

16He alone is immortal and dwells in unapproachable light.

is this going to change, does anyone think?

The scriptures must be discerned spiritually. Which you are not doing, but are taking them literally, or as the world does, which they count as foolishness because they lack understanding.

But what you are doing is worse than they are doing. You are without excuse.

You claim to have knowledge, but unlike the disciples you do not ask, but have begun to preach and teach without knowing the meaning of the words yourself. For the words He spoke, He only spoke in parables, that reading and hearing you would not understand, and seeing you would not perceive. But here you are quoting the written words like the lawyers and Pharisees who never knew Him.

    Matthew 23:13
But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in... Therefore you will receive greater condemnation."
