I think God wanted a suspicious issue addressed on whether we should be eating carnivores for meals. Some carnivores are known to attack and eat humans and that is sometimes reported on the news.

I don't know of any carnivores addressed by God in the old or new testament areas. I believe they were all herbivores. And I enjoyed that about God and his loving direction.

With sharks it's a case of mistaken identity when they bite or kill humans.

The alligator clip was a scared gator trying to get to the water before that fast thing they saw coming at them got to the gator.
