i'd much rather do that than die of some wasting disease i guess, and having friends and family standing around telling the usual liesWill you die for your faith?
That's admirable.i'd much rather do that than die of some wasting disease i guess, and having friends and family standing around telling the usual lies

Will you die for your faith?
I mean "Would you put your life on the line for the sake of the gospel?" Would you die for someone.Yes, I Think the majority of Christians will end up dying because they are just that...'Christians', and because they name the name of Christ.
It's coming down the road. We will each have to stand up and be counted....or counted out, as the case may be.

Have you read anything of "Fox's Book of Martyrs".? Some hair raising stuff in there...Will you die for your faith?
i've only been hearing this for...my entire Christian life? Meanwhile i note the mechanism by which most Western Christians are dying now, namely wasting diseases? So wadr "one of these things is not like the other" imoYes, I Think the majority of Christians will end up dying because they are just that...'Christians', and because they name the name of Christ.

ha imo we seek kings to raise armies that "serve their country" so this does not apply to us i guessWill you die for your faith?
We die regardless. It is faith in God and His salvation, not our own sacrifice or martyrdom, that saves us.Will you die for your faith?
If we live so long there may be a good chance for it. It seems to be happening already outside the Western supposedly Christian world, and things are not exactly the same as they were when we were young. Of course LOL when I was young I doubt I understood what it would mean to die for my faith. Now I may still not understand, but maybe I'm closer to understanding.Yes, I Think the majority of Christians will end up dying because they are just that...'Christians', and because they name the name of Christ.

I used to work with a Christian who was a human shield in Iraq, chained to a power plant trying to prevent the bombing. I too had the threat of prison time to stare down from choosing peace over violence. Die for the faith? There would be nothing to live for without Christ.
And doctors to heal our infirmities instead of looking to God.ha imo we seek kings to raise armies that "serve their country" so this does not apply to us i guess

God gave us gifts of ministry... One of those gifts is the ministry of healing. What happens though is that those who believe they are recipients of such a gift use the methods of the world rather than the means by which God gave to bring the needed treatment to those in need. Ancient cultures have more understanding of natural medicine than the pharmaceutical industry. And doctors to heal our infirmities instead of looking to God.
