Agreed, it is great comfort knowing one of our bros or sis's are praying for us. Memories of how I knew I was being prayed for will be forever cherished. One of the five or so women who prayed for me was my best friend of a good 43, 44 years now. Her and I came to Christ together. I met her at a pool tournament and, we began our very first conversation...all about God and Christ. That all took place in a corner bar and, there has not a day gone by that God was not our main focus. She is or I should say "was" quite a prayer warrior. Over the last 10 plus years I watched her go down each day. She has dementia and it started when she was 60 years old, she is now about to turn 71. I can still get her to pray on the phone and she loves that. Although, (not that it matters, at all) she can start a prayer and end up forgetting what she was praying about yet...she still keeps on with the prayer. It is the only way that I can calm her down when she is acting out with anger, loss and not understanding many simple things. I miss her as, she and I had plans after retirement and none of them panned out but, I know she is safe and taken care of.
So, for sure, it is such an uplifting thing to know someone cares enough to pray for you. :)
Amen for this experience dear sister in Christ! It is a blessing to be encouraged by others!
