    Israel getting off of oil

The country hopes to reduce coal consumption by half again in 2022 and to phase it out entirely by 2026.

The country is also betting big on transportation by abandoning the import of gasoline and diesel-powered automobiles by 2030, allowing only electric, hydrogen, and compressed natural gas vehicles. “We are actively transferring manufacturing and power generation plants to natural gas from fuel oil, but transportation is the sector showing the largest improvement through the next decade,” Luvshis said.

    German electric cars
Telekom, a large European telecommunications company headquartered in Germany are putting in place a massive plan to more than double the current electric car charging infrastructure by converting their distribution boxes. The company is in the process of updating 12,000 distribution boxes in their network in Germany.

They plan to build charging stations out of those distribution boxes – including 500 100-kW fast-charging stations.

The rest will be level 2 charge points capable of a charge rate up to 22 kW.
With around 10,800 public charge points in Germany at the moment, the plan alone would double the current charging infrastructure in the country.

UPS believes the innovation will allow it to convert all 170 of its vehicles operating in the greater London area to fully electric vehicles.
The team added onsite grid-scale batteries. The prototype installation utilizes new batteries but the team envisions used batteries from older electric delivery vehicles being given a second life as stationary storage at its charging depots to maximize the value it gets out of existing assets and reduce the need to purchase new batteries at every location, every time.

    Coal/oil on the way out

More than half of the U.S. coal mines operating in 2008 have since closed

In the United States, decreasing demand for coal has contributed to lower coal production, which has fallen by more than one-third since peak production in 2008. As U.S. coal demand has declined, the number of active coal mines has decreased by more than half, from 1,435 mines in 2008 to 671 mines in 2017. As the U.S. market contracted, smaller, less efficient mines were the first to close, and most of the mine closures were in the Appalachian region.

The U.S. has more coal reserves than any other country. Additionally, we remain one of the world’s top producers of coal—third only behind China and India. And, coal accounted for 30.1% of U.S. electricity generation in 2017

The reason the US has more coal reserves than any other country is because the other countries are running out of COAL!!!!

In addition to our robust oil production, the U.S. also has the largest government-owned stockpile of emergency crude oil in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR). And, at 660 million barrels, the SPR is by far the largest oil stockpile in the world. The SPR was created after the oil embargo of 1973–74, when the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries cut off their supply of oil to the United States.

    Department of Energy
DOE Announces Notice of Sale of Crude Oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve
    FEBRUARY 28, 2019

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy (FE) announced a Notice of Sale of crude oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR).

DOE plans to draw down and sell crude oil from three SPR sites—Bryan Mound and Big Hill in Texas, and West Hackberry in Louisiana. This sale will fulfill requirements for Section 404 of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015 (Public Law 114-74).

The Congressionally mandated sale is authorized in Section 404 of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015. The law authorizes the Secretary of Energy to draw down and sell up to $2 billion of SPR crude oil, for fiscal years (FYs) 2017 through 2020, to carry out an SPR modernization program. In FY 2019, the Secretary is authorized to sell up to $300 million worth of crude oil from the SPR to carry out the SPR Life Extension Phase II project—a component of the SPR modernization program, in accordance with the Energy and Water, Legislative Branch, and Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act, 2019 (Public Law 115-244). The proceeds from this sale will be deposited into DOE’s Energy Security and Infrastructure Modernization Fund during FY 2019.

NOTICE----- The reason Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) is now selling it's reserves is because private reserves cannot supply the needed demand!!! (we are running out of OIL!!!!)

US is exporting oil in record quanties. Oil prices are lower than in years. Our reserves are all-time high.

    Pump prices are lower.

Try to produce steel without coal.

Truth will set us free. Truth about God truth about the liberal lies on their environmental claims.

The Green Deal is simply a manifestation of Communist stupidity. More to the point Ocasio-Cortez stupidity. Just like Communism. A total disaster.

The US is actually releasing it "National reserves" in order to maintain supply of oil.

It is expected that by the year 2035, demand will reach 110.3 million barrels a day. Companies eventually will start to transition to alternative forms of energy and will be interesting to see what the future holds for renewable energy.
Which countries have the biggest oil reserves?

A 2013 study concluded that peak oil "appears probable before 2030", and that there was a "significant risk" that it would occur before 2020
    Peak oil - Wikipedia

When the price of gasoline rises, people naturally buy less of it; the amount of this reduction being determined by the amount of the price increase and the consumer's elasticity of demand for gasoline. This does not necessarily mean that people will drive less (though it is likely), it may mean that consumers trade in their SUVs for smaller cars, hybrid vehicles, electric cars or cars that run on alternative fuels.
Will the World Ever Run Out of Oil?

Countries With The Largest Proven Oil Reserves
Rank Country Reserves (millions of barrels), 2017 US EIA

My position is if we can make things more clean and there is a feasible way then do it.

And the experts say the liberal crisis about oil does not exist.

As one scientist stated if you every human from the earth the reduction in CO2 2100 would be 1%.

We've always had climate change. Right now the Arctic ice is shrinking with the Antarctic ice growing.

The polar caps on Mars are melting.

Did humans cause the ice ages? No.

Can we do about coal? No. Many medicines are made from coal as an ingredient. You cannot make steel without coal.

Modern cars are not belching out CO2.

Some warming actually promotes plant growth, etc. Plants need CO2.

I do not know how old you are but I most assuredly remember when the radicals warning about global cooling.

Did you know the USA is the most clean industrial country whiles such as China and Russia the dirtiest. Then the whole continent of Africa.

What about the deforestation taking place in the world's long, the Amazon rain forest.

And per Al Gore Florida should be underwater right now.

And you want to talk about those wanting to make the big bucks at the expense of others? Did you know the richest people in Washington are Democrats?

Pelosi once open borders but if an illegal enters her properties she has them arrested.

I am an independent because I don't like the political nonsense from either side. But the Democrats are by far the worst.

Like the southern border they want to pretend there is a problem.
