I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. - Galatians 2:20.

Have you ever noticed how the Lord gives you more and more from reading your bible. It is a good habit to get into to realize there is more to the bible than you will ever know or even need to know. Not necessary to understand it all, you can't because if the bible is the mind of God as we say then you will not get it all. It's infinite, the mind of God is more than Christianity needs to know. But Christian's need to know something about their father, their savior, and the Holyspirit. At one time through ignorance I claimed at least to myself that I was getting a handle on this God stuff. Well that is kind of normal I found out for the youth but as the Lord teaches you more and more you finally come to realize you were not as slick as you thought. So the point is; your bible will be opening up to you all the day's of your life if that is what you want. What keeps the scriptures from your mind or only going so far in God and then just stopping? Your thinking I have a handle on the God stuff. So your bible will always have new insight, if you will, into the things of God.

Galatians 2:20 has been like that through the years opening up new and fresh revelation. The thing about youth is it is still innocent and mostly open to the things of God. An old died in the wool stiff neck is like talking to a wall. They have God in a box and that is it, if that is what they want and are comfortable than I say more power to them. To many hungry heart's in the world to carry on with those that have God in a box. Galatians 2:20 is a really underestimated word to believers that gets overlooked imo. I say that from a personal standpoint, I know how I read it at one time and how I read it today. Galatians 2:20 is a powerful word if you will to believers because of their death in Christ. Crucified with Christ, when he died you died all in Adam dead as Christ on the cross.

There was a popular teaching and it still may be about how we need to die to something. Usally it was self that needed to die and then all your bad habits would vanish too. It was almost a faith can do anything mentality, but time usally proves God one way or another. That understanding has proved to be man's interpretation of a verse of scripture. Man will get ahold of something, it is usually a God thing, and they will run with it and it slowly will become a man thing. All our denominations come out of man getting ahold of powerful scripture and a movement starts. I believe movements like that are of God, but what can happen in a movement is God just doesn't stay in a movement, he moves. He moves on and men try to keep it going and the crab is out of the shell and there is no life in the movement as there was.

Movements are of God but when it's over it's over. When the life is gone you are best served to move with it and keep growing. Nothing worse than hearing someone say "this is what granddaddy believed, daddy believed it, and I'll believe it." That is a weak at best attempt to try to get a handle on God and keep something going that needs to die. He is moving through the body and granddaddy knowledge will be useful maybe in some areas but not as the Lord leads you. He is leading you not granddaddy, he is leading you and the scriptures are opening up to you, that is how you move on in God. You have to move, you cannot stay put in knowledge. Alot to be said about Galatians 2:20 so we will continue.
