Some wrongly teach that today Christ's kingdom is already manifest on earth. In that they add men's doctrines with describing that His kingdom is only meant in the spiritual sense, and not in the physical literal sense. Some of them even wrongly interpret Christ's 2nd coming to be spiritual only, and not involving His literal bodily return to this earth. Those doctrines of men represent DANGER!!!
John 18:36
36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if My kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is My kingdom not from hence.
KJV
Will there be a future time when Christ's servants will fight, and present His literal physical kingdom on earth? Yes!...
Rev 19:11-16
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He That sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself.
13 And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
KJV
Christ's 1st coming was meek as a lamb, to die upon the cross, to offer all who would believe on The Father through Him the remission of sins.
Christ Jesus' 2nd coming will be when He returns from Heaven with His army TO FIGHT, and take reign over all peoples and nations, and establish His literal Kingdom over the whole earth (Revelation 11:15-18; Isaiah 34; Zechariah 9:9-10; and the Rev.19 Scripture above).
So why is man's teaching that Christ's kingdom is a spiritual kingdom only a false idea?
That idea is actually a doctrine from Satan, because it wrongly suggests that 'today' Jesus is already reigning over all nations, even with all the evil going on in this world, and especially with persecution of His Church increasing in today's world.
Some brethren get wrapped up with the idea of 'religion' so much that they tend to lose common sense, and just quit thinking for themselves. And if many believe a false idea preached in the pulpit, they'll go along with it just because of others who accept it. Those in Christ Jesus are never to do that. Like those at Berea that Apostle Paul commended because they went to the Scriptures checking Paul out to see if what he was preaching was written, that also is how we are supposed to be (Acts 17:10-12).
Christ's Kingdom is indeed manifested on earth in the spiritual sense today, through His Church here on earth, even through the Christian nations He ordained that His enemies today on earth still trying to destroy. Yet our Lord Jesus with His Army has not arrived yet today to end the control that Satan's servants have over a major portion of this earth. That day is coming though, soon. Then our Lord Jesus will established His eternal reign over ALL nations and ALL peoples on this earth. ALL peoples and nations will bow in worship to Him and The Father only. There will not be worship of many gods on earth like there still is today. There will be only One GOD that all the world will turn to, as written in the Old Testament prophets like Zechariah 14.
So why would 'some' preachers today preach the lie that Christ's kingdom is already manifest here on today, and with all the evil still in today's world that what we see today is what we get? Why would they teach such a lie? It's like Isaiah 5:20 where God said woe to those who call evil good, and good evil, that put darkness for light, and light for darkness!
The danger in that false preaching of a 'Kingdom Now' is this:
Our Lord Jesus forewarned us about the very end of this world with the establishing of a one-world kingdom over the whole earth, and with a king appearing as God in Jerusalem demanding all to bow in worship to him. Did you not know brethren that our Lord Jesus is going to do that very thing to all nations when He returns?? He is going to cause all nations and peoples to bow in worship to Him only, as written (Philippians 2:9-11).
Yet our Lord Jesus and Apostles Paul and John forewarned us about a coming false king to Jerusalem that will sit in a rebuilt temple there and proclaim himself as God, over all that is worshiped or even called God. That means ALL nations worshiping him only, and with a one-world kingdom over all the earth (per Rev.13 & 17). Do you not see the DANGER in believing Christ's kingdom as already... established on earth today with that? If you aren't paying attention in God's Word about this, you might ... wind up worshiping the wrong Christ, because a fake Christ is coming to Jerusalem first!
The globalist plan for a one-world government today is Satan's plan to mimic Christ's future eternal Kingdom upon this earth. When all wars and rumors of wars have stopped, like Jesus warned, then that is the time to sit up and take strong notice, for it will require the coming Antichrist who will play our Lord Jesus to stop those wars and bring the false peace for the very end in his fake world kingdom.
