deliverance

I may be headed tomorrow morning on a 450 mile round trip to obtain deliverance from demonic oppression. There is a convention on deliverance on Buffalo NY with people coming from a distance. I have little expectation of success and great resistance from my wife. Please keep this in prayer.

I only slept a few hours the previous night and felt I could not make the trip. i sent a e-mail to the meeting in the late morning saying I would make an effort to come the final day of the meeting but that I needed to know if an early afternoon arrival was tool late. I can't make the trip without assurance I am not going there for nothing, No response yet.

The opportunity for deliverance was missed. I was unable to make contact in sufficient time and would have arrived too late.

Satan has me bounded, trapped

why go to a deliverance convention when you can do it yourself or have people at you church deliver you if they believe in the blood of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit? also are you sure you are oppressed by a demon?

7Angels, I have no doubt that there is demonization. I'm not sure that I care to go into a thorough explanation of the evidence and for what purpose. The church I attend has no deliverance ministry and I am not aware of one anywhere near where I live. I have made a diligent search. I have tried self deliverance without success. Satan is more powerful then many believe and the Christian church is often quite impotent. There are many others I know in need of deliverance that have no where to turn. I work at a government social service agency and my supervisor has apparitions that appear next to her bed at night and have appeared to one of her teenage children along with other poltergeist- like phenomenon. These manifestations have followed her when she has moved to different apartments. I told her to command the spirits to leave in the name of Jesus and through the blood of Jesus, but I believe she needs an exorcism and there is no one I know around here able to do this. She is not the only person I know who is oppressed and in some cases possessed. Another example is a young lady from Haiti who attends my church and who is continuously under attack from voodoo spirits and this has been going on for years with little relief. Somehow through all of this she has been persevering at school and working toward a nursing degree. Deliverance is very much needed but greatly neglected by the Christian Church. Churches do not wish to be tainted with this type of ministry which is looked upon as medieval, even though demonic possession has clear Biblical foundations. Others are afraid and partly with good reason as there is always the possibility of being attacked or even possessed by the demonic entity you are trying to cast out.

Hmmmmmmmm....Denomic oppression...you must be very special. Which I'm sure you are. Satan only attacks when he knows you are about to become closer to God than you were before. I know this is a late post since I'm new here and all :) New here...but not new to Jesus :)
So I hope this finds you better off than when you first posted this request. Dear Lord...strengthen this person so he can fight these demons on his own from here on out in You.
