So political convenience?
Yes.
Political expediency.
It has been Catholic agenda for centuries to gain political power globally. The French capture of the Pope and the disbanding of the college of cardinals in 1798 paused proceedings, but the Jesuits never give up. Who knows, even the entire French revolution had been partly blamed on the Jesuits by some historians... Maybe they planned that capture as well. Anyway, the current international moves forward toward global governance in both political and religious spheres is totally in harmony with Catholic policy. Which is why the democrats historically were never in favor of the constitution of the US, and deny nationalism as a legitimate concept.

Why are so many Democrat politicians Catholic?

Because Democrats and Catholics come out of the womb, A Democrat and A Catholic...:D

The rest of us First Learn What a Democrat stands for and What a Catholic stands for...
And PASS that Option.;)

Why are so many Democrat politicians Catholic?
They are generally non-practicing Catholics. Some of the Catholic clergy have called for the ex-communication of Joe Biden, but once again no one has had the courage to follow through. On the other hand JKF was a Catholic and a Democrat, but the last thing he would have wanted is the internal destruction of America, and the USA becoming the laughingstock of its enemies.

Yes.
And it is quite absurd since Catholic is the most conservative part of Christianity theology but in other Democrat politically embraces absurd liberal thoughts.
I have a doubt about the democrat politicians faith.

And yet politically the Vatican is socialist and fascist. Not absurd at all. Quite logical.

It's the only way to go! You can commit any sin you like, go and confess to a priest, you are back in the good graces of God!
It's a form of Godliness that denies the power of the Cross! But that's the entire Catholic story!
And this is the kind of ignorant manure that feeds this kind of idiotic, anti-Catholic thread . . .

LOL- You obviously think "YOUR VOICE" speaks for ALL Catholics.

Sorry to burst your bubble... but many "Catholics" speak for themselves.

(Yep, have flat out been told...BORN a Catholic...) lol
Yep, have flat out asked are you a Christian....
(and flat out been told..."no, I'm a Catholic"....) lol

As much as you believe ALL Catholics ARE committed to the SAME Catholic indoctrination...."they're not", any more than ALL Protestants "believe the same things".

So are you still an "anti-Protestant" ? lol

And I don't doubt that some ignorant Catholic told you that.

They simply don't know the teachings of their own Church - OR Scripture.
NONE of us is "born" as anything but a sinner.

Oh, and I'm not "anti-Protestant".
I'm just well-informed . . .

Call them what you will. And when I use "their" beliefs "in jest"... Get over it.

NONE of us is "born" as anything but a sinner.

I am well aware, and said nothing about being in agreement with them.

Oh, and I'm not "anti-Protestant".
....

IF I call you "anti-Protestant"... YOU ARE anti-Protestant....JUST LIKE WHEN YOU CALL PEOPLE (who are NOT anti-Catholic)..."anti-Catholic" !!

NOT ONE PERSON has SAID they ARE anti-Catholic ...but you call people anti-Catholic ALL THE TIME!

SEE how that works?

Actually, your entire point circles the drain because I have repeatedly stated the criteria for what makes a person an "anti" Catholic.

It's NOT a person who simply "disagrees" with Catholic doctrine.
It is a person who resorts to LYING about what Catholic believe and teach - or misrepresenting it as YOU routinely do

For the record - I haven't lied about or misrepresented ANY Protestant teaching or practice - so your comparison fails, as usual . . .

It is clear to all that the current and recent Popes are devotedly socialist. And how does the following description of facism not mirror Catholic dogma and practise down through the centuries?

Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and strong regimentation of society and of the economy which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.

That it came to prominence in 20th century Europe is somewhat of a miss. However...

I can imagine it's not easy being a Catholic.
Jesus never said it was going to be easy.
He said just the opposite . . .

Matt. 5:11-12

“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Matt. 16:24
Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
