In Christianity, unfortunately, there is a dilemma; 1. To be faithful to a large organized, even global, religious organization, and loyaly participate in it's practices, or 2. to be faithful in a direct relationship with our spiritual Father and be obidiant to His new testament Commandments, so that His glory will shine through us.
To have faith in a religion is not the same as having faith in the person of Jesus. Here is why. Having faith in a religion requires that your blessed hope is either on a day, such as Saturday, as an example, or in a person or persons other than Jesus, or on an event. Jesus makes it clear, you can't have it both ways.
Having faith in Jesus leaves no room for anything else or anyone else as a blessed hope. Jesus must be our only blessed hope. He must be the all in all, the begining AND the end. "No one comes to the Father but by me". That statement says it all.
