Do the blacks have a right to hold a grudge for what was done to their enslaved ancestors? Let me say I have never suffered racism so maybe I don’t know. Maybe when they say they are always a target, maybe they are. But it is the mentality that “since my ancestors where treated so poorly,
it gives me a free pass (forever)to be bitter and full of hate and blame toward whites.” Whites who were not there during slavery. The same could be said for whites if they lump blacks today in with the “slave” mentality and consider them beneath the whites...always at the bottom. I ask because it has really bothered me the last couple of days on how it seems very near to: God holds a grudge(forever). How during a seven year period God will unleash His wrath on people that were not even alive in the Old Testament or at the time of the crucifixion. For seven years God will finish what He started in Daniel on a totally different generation for a seven year period? (It is said the seven year period is) For the Jews to acknowledge Him as their saviour and Lord. But it is not the same Jews that lived then? It is a whole new generation. Is it a grudge?

    John 10:17
[17] Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

We cannot lump people together and judge all by the few. This is pure racism. And if you consider Christ's return immanent, and things today being as they were in the days of Noah. (They were marrying and giving in marriage until the flood came). There is no room for a 7 year tribulation and all that concerns you.

I think almost every non white person on the planet is entitled to place before His Creator a list of grievances which lists, to name just a few, slavery, genocide, robbery, rape, plunder, torture and cultural destruction with the chief instigator being the paler races. Of course one may point out the intertribal warfare that continue unabated until said tribes had a common pale face enemy.
    It's complicated.

Someday we may all admit that "racism" is little more than a politically advantageous and lucrative perception kept alive by both parties. "As long as it has "the other" (someone or something declared, 'the enemy') to hate and/or fear, any movement will remain alive and flourish and grow."

Even to God's simple words of loving others, we have felt the need to add "... but, be sure to hate some of them."

God made of one blood all nations Acts 17:26. So I believe when we realize we are all cut from the same cloth we will stop thinking of each other in "racial stereotypes".

Does a white person have the right to hold a grudge for what was done to their free ancestors?
Does a white person have the right to hold a grudge for what was done to them in this life?
Does a black person have the right to hold a grudge for what was done to their enslaved ancestors?
Does a black person have the right to hold a grudge for what was done to them in this life?

The Tribulation Wrath is not against those living at that time for their current unbelief and wickedness??

There seems to be a lot of "I have my rights" going around. Jesus said "I have EVERY right, but give them all up for 'love.' "
Do we think we are that much greater than Jesus, that we can claim for ourselves that which He surrendered?

Thank you for the video. I’m not big on watching the news. It is always more of the same. Everyone feels God speaks to them. I get so confused because what I hear God say is not the same as another says God IS. What He says to me is the ones He puts in rule in His kingdom are those that judge and rule in mercy. Otherwise there will always be an oppressor and a victim. (As said in the video). It never ends where man is concerned. Around and around it goes with self-assertion of what seems to be right in ones own eyes and limited perspective. God said we (those who are His) will never be ashamed. But the latter ones (those that reject His body)will suffer shame and will kneel at the feet of Christ and His body. And what will Christ and His body do to those ashamed and begging for mercy at their feet? They(those guilty) of denying Him will not get away with it because His word says they will be ashamed. Naked (spiritually) and laid bare and ashamed. We will condemn them in our actions when we: do unto them the opposite of what they did unto us. Then we will be Christ to the world. No more oppressor. No more victim. All under Christ and His goodness. Not a person here may agree but maybe this is what God means when He said “if I can’t trust you with the temporal and passing away...How can I trust you to be faithful with the true riches of My Kingdom?”

We all want someone to pay.
    Someone did.

I would say no. (IMO) otherwise what is the: forgive as I have forgiven you. We are judged by Mercy.

I think we all have to forgive everyday.
If we don't, we are blocked from God...
But if we seek God through our trials, he will give us a way to forgive.

The Fox program, The Five (at 5:00), is almost the only news program I watch anymore.... and it is mainly because Dana Perino is one of the few "talking heads" that I feel uses her brain.

I agree. I grouped those questions in such a way as to suggest that it was the "grudge" portion that was most important. A grudge is a lack forgiveness as you say. None of us get a pass.

    Blessings.

Addressing the OP only. #1. good topic. #2. nor was it right for a person to enslave another person.
#3. but two wrongs don't make a right.

#4. and as for a descendant being punish for what a parent has done, error, unless the descendant is doing what the Parent is doing. scripture,
Ezek 18:1 The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,
Ezek 18:2 What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?

what was being said is that the children are being punished for what their father and fore fathers had done.but listen to what God said,
Ezek 18:3 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.
Ezek 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

what God responded to was, those sour grapes of sins that the fathers ate, is not what God is punishing you for unless you're eating the same sour grapes also. other words, stop going to the same frutt stand that your fathers went to..... :p

    listen up,
Ezek 18:5 But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, (THERE IS YOUR ANSWER), just do right
Ezek 18:6 And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,
    Ezek 18:7 And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;
Ezek 18:8 He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,
Ezek 18:9 Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.

it's very simple. STOP, and do right.

ps I'll give you a verse that reprove any generational curse, or punishment,
Deut 5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,
Deut 5:10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

see the difference, "Love" and "Hate". scripture,
Matt 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

why do I say STOP on both sides, "Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice), Heb 3:7 (kjv). "TO DAY", if we all hear his voice, the good the bad and the ugly, he will "HEAL" our land and will forgive our iniquity, and remember our sins no more.

see, we have a covenant to this effect, just read it in Jer 31:31-34 it said the "HOUSE", not the tribe, but with the "HOUSE" , meanin all who believe. all men, black, white, red, brown, or yellow. all the HOUSEHOULD of God.
Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God." there's that "HOUSE" of God in Jer 31:31-34.

Short answer: NO. Racism was on the way out and blacks were making tremendous headway until Barack Hussein Obama (and Michelle) decided to play the race card (with the help of stupid white liberals who hate their own country), along with their Black Caucus buddies and those evil trouble mongers such as Sharpton, Jackson, Waters, etc. who cry *race* at every opportunity. In the meantime, the inner cities were allowed to go to the dogs, and black-on-black violence became an epidemic.

Now everyone cries racism to prevent fair and honest criticism of the black evildoers who abound, while making sure that black and white Americans don't see how they are being manipulated for political gains. Obama should have been impeached a long time ago, but there was not A SINGLE white politician with the guts to go after him.

Add to that the *marriage* of the Democrats to the racist Black Muslims led by Louis Farrakhan right now, and you have a cauldron ready to boil over. Add to that the fact that Black Lives Matter was funded by a white billionaire to exacerbate racial tensions and bring anarchy and hatred to the heart of every American city. There is an evil agenda behind all this, and what is needed is strong black voices such as those of former Sheriff David Clarke to speak out against their own evil people who are simply wanting to stir up trouble.

If you mean over slavery, absolutely not.

No black alive today was ever a slave. No white was ever a slave owner.

    Fixed.

    I misted on proofreading.

I have a problem with one hand, so I use voice to text software. It does not get it right sometimes.

ahhh, the art of confusion through fake news, ie miserable exegesis. It has a strong grip if it's believed and double strong if it's defended.
.....and Jesus said 'are you still asleep. Pray that ye enter not into temptation' ....but their eyes were heavy.
