Pat Caddell (spelling?) is one of the few (or maybe the only, now that i think about it) people on cable news who actually ADMITS that, as he said it, the media is putting it's thumb on the scale of this election...

Good for Pat Caddell, for speaking the truth... I soemtimes get the feeling Fox staff don't exactly appreciate it... but maybe that is my imagination... inspired by the fact that the media really is... putting its thumb on the scales of this election

The problem is that most people don't think at all, they just automatically vote their party line.. In Chicago for instance, nearly everyone just punches the straight democrat ticket... I swear that if Jesus Christ were running for mayor as a Republican and Adolf Hitler was running as a Democrat, Hitler would be the next Mayor...They don't know the issues and don't care, they just vote for what government will give them, just like their parents and grandparents did before them.

it was a generalized thing to say, of course b/c some of us DO think

they want you to think that what they tell you is news is news.. what they do not tell you is not important...

I mean, all this election information on the news... sick o'that...

I am sure there are plenty of murders going on during this election season... plenty of odd news out there... interesting, need2know news... but instead all we hear is about this candidate going after that candidate...

I feel so sorry for those people who are victims of terrorism in the middle east.. They do not get much coverage... they are not billionaires, ya know... didn't violate federal laws and etc... they are nobodys
