ians should know and care about, when he wrote that salvation is

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but
according to His Mercy He saved us, by the washing of
regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost” (Titus_3:5).​

That’s quite different than how things were in time past...

In your post, you stopped your quote at the word 'righteousness" and left out the words "we have done". Those 3 words are necessary to show the contrast Paul is making in this verse. Why did you leave these important words out?
