The man had more knowledge about the Bible then both of you put together.
Notice I said had since he has been dead for over 30 years.
I guess that means neither of you like John Ankerberg either.

No, I do actually like John Ankerberg. He does show his bias at times I think but, I have enjoyed lots of his shows. Martin just seems to repel me in a way I cannot explain.
Ankerberg and Martin were close friends and associates. They agreed on almost everything. He spoke at Martin's funeral.
I didn't watch but there is a video covering it.
You have to remember while being degreed in religion he was a moderator on his show. Except when he did solo shows or felt that at some point there were points or question then needed to be raised..
That is not easy. Being in elected and appointed office there are many times I had to bite my tongue and sit back and just listen.
I never saw a show where I did not know his position. Just the people he chose to debate each other gave it away. He always has his side represented.
The two of them had different styles but when they work together it was always on an issue a common belief.

IF he preaches Truth, then yes, but if he teaches error, then no.

That is your choice. I have noticed the more knowledgeable a Christian is the more other "Christians" call them arrogant.
God will judge it.
Like all of us he made mistakes here and there.
I think it bothers some because what he said pokes at some errors and mistakes in their beliefs.
