Edits disappear

Several times, while editing a post, the edit disappeared. I think it happens when I inadvertently click on a blank place in the right portion of the edit area. Is there any way to get this edit back?

Sometimes hitting the "back-arrow" at the upper left corner of the screen works.... sometimes, not.
