    Jesus is our entire Sanctification.
Do you have Him in you? Are you born again?
So, when we are "In Christ", we are as sanctified as God Himself.

= "as Jesus is.... so are the born again IN this World".

Our Discipleship, is not our sanctification, its our discipleship.
A lot of Christians confuse Salvation with Discipleship.
    However......They are not the same.
Salvation is God offering His life to YOU.
Discipleship is you presenting your body and behavior back to God as your discipleship, subsequent to you being SANCTIFIED by the Blood of Jesus.

Discipleship has no effect on being "made Righteous', which is our entire sanctification, as "born again".
We are "made righteous", so, we can't become more righteous, but we can exist in perfection as a disciple, which is to have the mind of Christ =which is to walk in the Spirit.

To become "perfected", and exist as "the fullness of the Stature of Christ" is not found by deeds, its only found by having a perfectly renewed Mind that always and only reflects God's perspective of who we are as a born again NEW CREATION, made so by God Himself.

Notice that the NT teaches you that you please God by "faith", and that faith isn't deeds and works...but rather its found in perfected understanding = renewed MIND..
That is the REAL walk of Faith, and when you exist in this Right Believing, you are existing in the renewed mind, which is to walk in the Spirit.
That's how you live the sanctified life that is pleasing to God.

    No it doesn't, deceiver.
Twist verses to your own hurt.

Listen, You can "do righteousness", as in Charity, and good works, and be as hell bound as any other lost person.
So, your theology of "look at me, see me God, look at my DEEDS", is UNACCEPTED.
    Its DENIED by the Cross.
Got that, Mr works and water?

God says this...>"by the Blood of my Son, you are to come, and if you try with your works, as CAIN tried with His, you will DEPART from me, in the end".

    Are you listening yet, justbyfaith?
Do you think that posting 56 more verse that you can't discern, is going to solve your spiritual issue?
    Not hardly.

So, listen Cain Type, always committing the "error of Cain"..., do you not teach works as God's requirement for Him to accept you or any one else.
    = Galatians 1:8
    Never do that.

Saying that I am twisting those verses is your way of denying the faithful doctrine that I am preaching, because unless you say that I am twisting them, I win the argument.

However, the scriptures that I have referenced speak for themselves; and I encourage the reader to be a Berean (Acts of the Apostles 17:10-11) and study out those verses for themselves; and see if they do not say what I say that they say.

When I reference holy scripture, I rarely give my own commentary; and yet I am often accused of twisting the holy scriptures simply because of the fact that I have quoted or referenced them.

This ought to tell people something...that the understanding of many is that the plain scripture taken at face value is considered to be a twisting of the truth.

The world is basically topsy-turvy out there and this has even affected some in the church.

    Some more context:

2Ti 2:14-26 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. (15) Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (16) But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. (17) And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; (18) Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. (19) Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. (20) But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. (21) If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. (22) Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. (23) But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. (24) And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, (25) In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; (26) And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

1Th 5:12-28 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; (13) And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves. (14) Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. (15) See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. (16) Rejoice evermore. (17) Pray without ceasing. (18) In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (19) Quench not the Spirit. (20) Despise not prophesyings. (21) Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (22) Abstain from all appearance of evil. (23) And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (24) Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. (25) Brethren, pray for us. (26) Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss. (27) I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren. (28) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. The first epistle to the Thessalonians was written from Athens.

Your entire theology is your own self invented commentary.
This is why its all about water + works.

I hope you dont mind that i removed verses that were not actually related to real sanctification, and instead was related to discipleship.
    I left what was necessary.

You have to be able to make the distinction between sanctification that is the Justifying of you before God, based on the Blood of jesus, and the lifestyle that you present to God after He has sanctified you.
That which you do, has no power to sanctify you.
Sanctification, only comes from God's BLood Atonement.

So, if you are trying to "live a sanctified life" thinking you are becoming more sanctified, then go right ahead and stop now.

Everything about our new life in Christ is already ours,

He has given us everything for life and godliness through knowing Him.

Only, will we walk by faith, believing? Or by sight, not believing?

The just shall live by faith, and not by any other way. Only by faith do we walk in life!

    Much love!

    So very true!

Faith is trusting Jesus. What I like to do is to pick out those most challenging parts of the Bible to accept, and meditate on them until I believe them. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the word of God.

Once I've come to accept such things as reality, such as,

    2 Peter 1:2-4 KJV
    2) Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
    3) According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
    4) Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Then, I live as though this were true.

    Much love!

The word is near you, which means you hear or see it; then it is in your mouth; you say it enough, and then it is etched into your heart. Romans 10:8
At first, you say it in order to get it in your heart.
Then you will say it because it is in your heart and you believe it. :)

I have observed that some saints, who have entire sanctification through the blood of Christ, still do some entirely unsanctified things, such as use profanity, make false accusations, preach false doctrine, act selfishly, and other works of the flesh, for which of course, God will hold them accountable, myself included.

My doctrine is based wholly on what the Bible teaches.

No; for the righteousness that we have in Christ is practical (1 John 3:7, Romans 5:19, Matthew 5:6).

A sanctification that is only found in idealism is not Scriptural which is why we are given this practical remedy to unsanctified hinderances. . .

Heb 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, (2) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

and why Peter was admonished by the Lord for not allowing Him to wash his feet . . .

Joh 13:8-10 Peter said unto him, You shall never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash you not, you have no part with me. (9) Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. (10) Jesus said to him, He that is washed need not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and you are clean, but not all.

I would only encourage the reader to also read the scriptures that are referenced.

God justifies the UNGODLY with the blood of the Holy Christ.

    the "ungodly" are "justified".
What does this mean? It means God makes the bad GOOD, in His perspective.
He takes a dead spirit in a person, and makes it a "new Creation" 'in Christ".
We are "made righteous", = SPIRITUALLY, by receiving GOD Righteousness, which is the "gift of Righteousness".
We are BORN AGAIN, Spiritually..., not mentally and not bodily.

Discipleship, is a sort of behavior modification, whereby we become less and less carnal, in our behavior, so that it more represents our MADE RIGHTEOUS born again Spirit.

We SEE behavior, but God sees "new Creation".

When we learn to see ourselves as God sees us, and not as anything else, then we understand what "walking in the spirit" in the "renewed mind" is all about.

Sanctification has two very different aspects to it.

First is the positional aspect. Heb. 10:14 shows both

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Our position- god has declared us perfected forever!
Our experience we are in process of being sanctified so that our walk matches our position. God starterd this work and He will see it through to accomplishment.
