Well, where to begin?I often hear this word Ephraim used and I never thought much of it. I looked into it esp. because I am currently reading 2Chronicles. Heres what Ive come to so far:-Son of Joseph-Tribe of Israel?-Title for the Northern Kingdom?-Why is this so important, even in prophesy?-Who were the peoples of Ephraim, and who are they now?-I think Ephraim is also listed in Hosea

Ephraim is now great Britain and the commonwealth nations descended from her (now mostly independent). Read the book Judah's scepter/Joseph's birthright in my signature. J. H. Allen went to great detail scripturally to show who these people are. A couple of facts: Ephraim is of the tribe of Joseph that inherited the birthright. The Jews do not have the birthright and therefore did not fulfill Genesis 35:11 and Genesis 48:19.Ephraim was the dominant tribe of the northern house of Israel in the bible (not Jews) and thus called "Israel" and the prophecies to Israel goes to them and not the Jew.One last fact: I think you know all this already and is a baited question, but I like that. I hope the other posters of this site see the truth instead of being thick-headed and understand the role they have in prophecy.Kriss (a moderator) and Denver (the owner of this site) believe this way as well if I may take the liberty of saying so. This is why I feel safe here on this forum and won't get kicked off as a troll like on other so-called Christian forums that are too dense and follow-the-evangelistic-leader-minded to see past their hands as to the critical importance of this subject that you brought up. The way to life is very narrow, and few be that find it.BTW, how do you like my genealogy in my signature? I made it myself based on that book, and the bible. I'm proud of it.

Tims right but know we are talking replacement theory Red the southern tribes of Israel made up of the largest tribe called Judah and Benjamin with some Levite's priests and are called Judah (todays Jews) in scripture as I said because it was the largest tribe Where you see in scripture when God mentions Judah and Ephraim (Manasseh) mentioned seperatley God is talking about Todays christian Nations (Ephraim/ Manasseh) and todays Jews(Judah) (the other smaller tribes spread across Europe)All twelve tribes together are called House of Israel. God knows where are his children are even if we have forgottenThese are what God calls the two sticks of his children they are divided and when Christ returns he will reunite them into one stick you can read of this in Eze. 37Eze 37:19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, [even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. Eze 37:20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. Eze 37:21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: Eze 37:22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:This one king is Christ at his return and the kingdoms here are Jew, and Christians under Christ
