In the history of the Internet...

1. Pornography was not allowed
2. Then you had to search for it
3. Now it is everywhere!

ESPN recently posted what they called "The body issue" in which is basically nude athletes showing just about everything. I have emailed and complained to this company because I go their for sport and basically said that smutting up their site was not appreciated.

Pornography is everywhere on the Internet these days and we need to pray protection from it!

If I could edit my list a tad...

In the history of the Internet...

2. Then you had to search for it
3. Then it was everywhere!
4. Now it comes searching you!

Well, you're talking about a time where even the consumption of food is sexualized by an attractive woman chowing down on a burger with skimpy clothing. (Talking the Hardee's commercials.)

It's gone beyond just moralizing about it, as when this stuff is beamed and beamed into your head and households, it will catch you off guard and could definitely lead to worse things. We men tend to be weak in that department. My wife and I were talking the other day about how a number of news networks now set out to include 1-3 attractive females with legs and short skirts reporting and discussing the issues, including the one that's supposed to be "conservative." I think it makes sense for TV programs to feature attractive personalities and faces, but it's gone beyond that.

I moved to Virginia as a teenager from growing up in the military in the 1980s. Back in those days...

1. There were blue laws keeping businesses closed on Sundays.
2. Everyone normally went to town on Saturdays
3. I would work at a restaurant during the mornings and the hayfield/garden in the afternoon
4. Go to town on Saturdays, church on Sundays, and catch a good revival in the PM if one was going on.

Back in those days the Holy Spirit would speak in the sanctuary. This was a marvelous time for me and I would feel the Holy Spirit big time daily. My grandmother would wash my clothes and my spirit was a fresh as the clothing! Over time...

1. They repelled the blue laws - People go to town anytime!
2. The hayfields are now places of business and schools
3. There are few revivals these days. It seems to me that ego has taking the place of unction with many
4. The love of many has indeed grown cold.

48 As I live, saith the Lord God, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.
49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good. - Ezekiel 16

The sins of Sodom...

1. Pride - Haughty, and full of abominations
2. Fullness of bread - Gluttony
3. Abundance of idleness - In other words... They did not find anything better to do!
4. Greed - No thoughts for the poor

Back when I was growing up there was no staying inside on a sunny day. I had a paper route as a boy and worked restaurants as a teen. I worry that the effects of the times and the seasons turn people away from righteousness and towards other things. Including a corrupted internet!

The moral compass in the USA and other western countries is completely lost..human decency? A thing of the past..the movie makers and media do not know that meaning of those words, obviously...human dignity? dah..that throws a curve ball at them for sure..they seem oblivious to that as well...it seems our societies are overwhelmed with the degradation of the human body, mind and spirit, to the point of the sad event of disposable human beings ie preborn babies in the mothers' wombs..society is completely gone "crazy"...
All this should be no surprise though, as the Bible is full of atrocities in the past 6000 or so years...it seems our only hope is found in the return of Jesus to set up His kingdom, and we pray that we are worthy to inhabit this kingdom with Him...

While visiting the French Polynesia I noticed that the outer islands were very much the way I had outlined things in Virginia when I was growing up. When visiting Papeete, the capital of the big island of Tahiti I noticed graffiti on the walls and slogans such as "*** the cops!" I asked the touring guide the meaning of all of this. And her reply was that the people were not like that before the DVD player and American movies came along. The islanders seem to think that the corruption came along with the American media. In which I think that a whole lot of people who peddle evil in the form of media are going to be responsible on the day of judgement for the corruption they sewed on planet earth.

You are right Rocky..the entire planet is saturated with the filth and garbage turned out of the US movie makers, and their associates....homosexuality, abortions, wars, murders, corruption etc are all glorified...and you are right they will be severely judged by God for this mockery of human dignity and human decency...one can only hope it is sooner than later...
The "christian" preachers, in the USA and the western countries, and even many of those in Asia would sooner preach about safe topics, rather than come against the evils as mentioned above..guess they like the wealth they can accumulate by doing this, rather than preaching the true word of God..they also will be judged, as we all will be. In the meantime we can only keep our "noses" clean, and make sure the "sliver is removed from our own eyes" and pray we are worthy of God's kingdom, when He pulls the plug on this evil planet at the end of the age...

Well, there’s no money in preaching the Word of God, there is prosperity in the Kingdom of God in preaching the Word of God, but no real entitlements of prosperity in the world. Though yes there’s money in preaching about a god that is in their own image and likeness of what they say He ought to be. Preach that, and they will throw their money at you.

The thing is, it’s no secret that things are going as they are, the Gentiles are returning to the way it was before Christianity became a major influence. And it is the Lord God that said they would, like a dog returning to its vomit. And we know that it is God’s pleasure to see His Word fulfilled.

We forget that Jesus didn’t come into the world to make it a better place, He came to save souls, as many as would believe. So all that has come to pass since the Pentecost after Jesus went to the Father, is all about the spreading of the Gospel. That is the mission, doesn’t matter what the world is doing, or not doing, other than the Lord keeping you informed about what situation you are in.

Just read the last chapter in Zechariah if you are wondering how the return of Jesus is going to go down, it isn’t to pretty for those who shall be here. Even the Israelites shall suffer catastrophes.

We must understand that Noah, the only soul that believed other than maybe some of his children walked with the Lord his God because the Lord his God walked with him. Hence it’s by God’s Loving Mercy that we are able at all. For without His Presence (the Holy Spirit) we will not survive either. Consider the soul that was on the cross when Jesus was, life in the world sucked for him until Jesus said: "Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.". The only real value of being born into the world is the opportunity to be with your Maker.
