When Jesus Christ said…"I am the way, the truth and the life" he was telling us a very profound thing. He was telling us that regardless of any other teaching his teaching will come good for those that follow his truth. This means…absorbing his word and his actions and imitating them…quietly, calmly, and with due respect. The reason he can be so sure is because he was laying down the structure behind a very advanced science. A science which states, categorically, that our spiritual welfare is far more important than our physical welfare. One reason for this is that our physical welfare only responds to healthty repair when it is fed by our righteous spirit...and everlasting life can only be captured by following Jesus Christ accurately.

"that our spiritual welfare is far more important than our physical welfare."

This is why Jesus taught to hate this world in agreement with love your neighbor as yourself, love your enemy, and above all love God. With so many the focus is on the pursuit of happiness as opposed to the pursuit of God. That which is temporal is of the flesh, that which is eternal is of the Spirit. Shall I sacrifice that which is eternal for a happiness that is destined to die. May it never be!

One reason for this is that our physical welfare only responds to healthty repair when it is fed by our righteous spirit...and everlasting life can only be captured by following Jesus Christ accurately.

In a sense no one follows Him accurately, unless you mean we acknowledge ourselves as law breeakers/sinners and receive the FREE GIFT of His Righteousness.

Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.
(Rom 5:18)

See? It is His obedience, not ours, that secures eternal life.

We are all sinners but that doesn't mean we should rest on our laurels...we must follow Jesus...accurately. We wont find it easy...but we must try, because that is where all of Jesus's promises, to us, reside. There are no new laws for righteousness only a modern interpretation and that states that we must upbuild our spirit by righteousness to gain everlasting life.

Every scientific law in the universe has a spiritual interpretation because Almighty God is the creator of them all and bestowed upon us, via his Son, Jesus Christ, the finest and most righteous version of it with his priority on mankind...or at least, those who are prepared to reach out for his accuracy.
