Does this passage refer to the seven year great tribulation..

Ez 39:9-10 NIV “ ‘Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up—the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel. 10They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel. And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Sovereign Lord.

No, it does not.
The Gog from Magog attack happens after new Israel [Beulah: Isaiah 62:1-5] are settled and prosperous in all of the Holy Land. This will be soon after all that area is cleared and cleansed by the Lord's Day of wrath, Rev. 6:12-17, triggered by the Psalm 83 attack on Israel.
The last seven years before the Return of Jesus for His Millennial reign, commences when the leader [dictator] of the OWG comes to Beulah and negotiates a 7 year treaty of peace with them. The first half of this time will be peaceful, only after he breaks the treaty and conquers Beulah, Zech. 14:1-2, does the 3.5 year G.T. start.

It is interesting how Gog's weapons are described. The prophets knew nothing about modern weapons, so we may extrapolate what Ezekiel describes and think it is the fuel, tyres and the lignostone [google it] used in rifle stocks, mortar bases, etc., that is burned.
OR, we are told that in the Lord's Day of wrath, His judgement/punishment by fire from the sun, all weapons of war will be destroyed. Hosea 2:18, Psalm 46:9, Micah 5:10-11 So, it may well be that Gog's army will be armed with exactly what Ezekiel describes. That would be funny!

ATP : Yes it is and again I stand in controversial topics. 39 happens before 38 and also note who Israel are. Its not just the cities in the middle east but Christian's around the world.

7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

These are two wars of the same, first we go captive as Revelation say them that live by the sword shall die in like mannner and them that go captive shall be captive and also Daniel 9 say's the kingdom shall be givin to the saints.

11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

Now a day with the lord is as a thousand years. When the first war is over and we a captive the lord will deliver us from them and we will live at peace, then satan again deceives the nations and builds up the army again.

2 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

Note : Earth doesn't have a thousand years left. The builders of the New Heavens and Earth are in our solar system now.
