There are several dangerous theologies that parade about as God ordained, that falsely define themselves as "church doctrine".
One is the "Pre-destined Elect" theology, and one is The Catholic Church Doctrine.
I'll discuss the Catholic Doctrine, specifically its peculiar doctrine of Salvation.
First, the Catholic Doctrine teaches that Water Baptism is the true and eternal means of spiritual regeneration.
This is found in their Corrupt Bible, the Douay-Rheims, John Chapter 3.
This corrupt bible teaches that a person is born again OF or BY Water.
Now, Paul Teaches and Christ Teaches, that we are born again by the Spirit of God, and that is not the city water supply.
Next, and equally as damning, is the Catholic Doctinal teaching on "Justification by Faith".
What the Catholic doctrine teaches is that if you teach that God only accepts Faith, to accept you, then you are "cursed", as Catholic Doctrine does not accept that by Faith Alone the born again are Justified and redeemed by the Blood of Jesus AS Salvation.
Catholic Doctrine teaches that Faith and Justification begin your journey, but they of themselves are not eternal Redemption.
Now if we read Romans 5.. we find where Paul expressly states that our peace with God, which is our salvation, which is proof of our eternal redemption is ONLY and SOLEY based on Justification BY Faith without works....
""Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we HAVE peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,""""
Notice that we HAVE Peace.......we are not getting to it, or coming into it, or hoping we can one day achieve it.....No, we HAVE PEACE with GOD, and why?...."since, (from the day it began) we HAVE peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ".
So, if you are born again, our Peace with God comes THROUGH Jesus, based on HIM....which is "eternal redemption", that HE GAINED by shedding of BLood and Death and Resurrection........And God apples this eternal redemption gained by Jesus to all the born again, as their being "justified by FAITH"..
Grace THROUGH Faith.
Justification BY Faith
Catholic Doctrine denies this, and states as Catholic Doctrine that if you teach that verse, as stated, .. that Justification by Faith is ALL that is necessary to be saved, with no more works required, no more self effort required, then you are "cursed" or as the Cult of Mary states it....>"anathema".

"""" If anyone says that justifying faith is nothing else than confidence in divine mercy, which remits sins for Christ's sake, or that it is this confidence alone that justifies us, let him be anathema.(Cursed) """
