My family is on the other side of the world. I try to keep contact, otherwise there is just me and my husband here, but we've got our fellowship with other christians, they are our family here.

My daughters and grandkids are 1,200 miles away, and I can't afford to travel on retirement. My older daughter wants nothing to do with me anyway. I was a lousy dad, but then I had a sorry-excuse-for-a-dad from whom to learn.
