We need father's of the faith more today than we have ever needed them. There seems to be a lack of those (father's) that have a sound understanding.

Unfortunately, I doubt that will happen. As Paul said there will be a great falling away before the Antichrist is revealed. And as NASA has been watching a huge asteroid that will be too close to the earth to predict it will be a "near-miss," this may very well be the asteroid of Revelation 8. NASA has calculated where it will hit, if it doesn't "miss" us. April 13, 2029 at the shoreline of California/Mexico border, causing earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tidal waves that could cover islands (another prophecy), and everyone in America and Mexico will be destroyed.

Therefore, seeing as that will be right before the second coming, and if the Great Tribulation is 7 years long, then the Antichrist will be revealed in only 2 years from now. That also could be when the fullness of the Gentiles coming into the Church is complete, and only Jews will be saved during the last 7 years. Romans 11; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12.

Cyprian of Carthage:

The episcopate is one, each part of which is held by each one for the whole. The Church also is one, which is spread abroad far and wide into a multitude by an increase of fruitfulness. As there are many rays of the sun, but one light; and many branches of a tree, but one strength based in its tenacious root; and since from one spring flow many streams, although the multiplicity seems diffused in the liberality of an overflowing abundance, yet the unity is still preserved in the source.

CHURCH FATHERS: Treatise 1 (Cyprian of Carthage)

Peace be with you!

St. Cyprian, pray for us!

He was in the 200's. I was assuming the post is about modern church fathers. I would like that to mean for someone to teach 1st century gospel. That was destroyed 500 years ago, and the heresy has become Orthodox. Wrong has become right, and right has become wrong! Yikes!

Hmm..

JohnPaul II :

What really matters in life is that we are loved by Christ and that we love Him in return. In comparison to the love of Jesus, everything else is secondary. And, without the love of Jesus, everything is useless.”

Peace!

St JohnPaul, pray for us!
