Romans 6:5 (NASB20)
For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection,

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As this scripture brings forth, if one would walk in newness of life, one must first be united with Him in the likeness of His death….
But what does it mean, and why is it necessary to be united with Him in the likeness of His death…?
The salvation there is in Christ is to free one from the life that was brought forth when Adam fell, to do this the life of this world must be given up, for it is the life of this world that is our separation from God….. Christ ended that separation by bringing the life of this world to an end by taking our soul’s to death with Him on the cross…. For to bring the life of this world to an end was the only way to free the fallen one from the influences of the life of this world… For by bringing the life of this world to an end one is freed from having to be controlled by the influences of sin that work in this world….. Therefore scripture calls these influences to sin ‘the body of this death’ or ‘the sin that dwells in’…..
For the body of this flesh, which is our outward body, which was sold into sin at the fall does not die when we turn to Christ, just like Adam’s outward body did not die when his soul fell into the life of this world…. This is what the salvation in Christ being; the reversal of the fall, Christ did this reversal by taking our fallen soul’s to death with Him and then giving that soul a new birth and raising that soul to a new life with Him….. He has separated that soul from the sin that was brought to life in one’s members, or as scripture puts it; ‘the removal of the body of flesh by the circumcision of Christ’…..
This Christ accomplished on the cross, this is that that one is to accept by faith, and reckon upon it, and as one gets practiced in this reckoning of faith will the fruit of this separation be made manifest in that one’s life…. For we are saved by the free gift of Christ, which is the gift of a new life to all that would be willing to access this gift by faith….
For this truth of becoming one with Christ in both His death and resurrection is put forth in many different ways in scripture…. For this is the theme of the NT; Christ’s death and resurrection and the believer being joined with Him in both that death and resurrection by faith….
For being set free from sin in the time of this life is entering into one salvation in Christ… For to the degree one is set free from sin in the time of this life, to that degree has the new birth come to life in that one’s life, which is the evidence that Christ is being formed in that one’s innermost being.… For the new life being formed in one is the salvation of Christ being experienced, for Christ did come to give man a new life in the time of this life… Not wanting it, or believing it, is that that keeps one from experiencing it, or as scripture says; ‘bound to the elementary things of this world’….
For faith is that that reaches outside this world even to the Throne of God Himself… For God would be found, and faith is the key that unlocks the door of Heaven…. But wanting the right thing through faith, is that that receives and that which does not…. For if one’s faith wants anything other than righteousness, that one, as it were, will have to take another trip around the mountain…. For till one’s heart wants only the manifestation of righteousness, that heart is not holding unto their death in Christ and subsequently experiencing the new life will be a sometimes thing…..
For own will is that that wants something other than righteousness by the wanting of it’s own way rather then the doing of righteousness….. So therefore because own will is one’s very life of self, the only way to come out from under it’s power is to accept and grab unto by faith, the gift of death and new life offered by being joined with Christ in both His death and resurrection….
For God has made a way for all believer’s to walk in newness of life… That way being, being joined with Christ in both His death and His resurrection by the resignation of one’s will denied and turned over to Him….
The faith that will grab onto this truth, is the faith that will be established in Christ, for Christ did die, and the believer in Him…
Be blessed in being established in Christ, Not me
